Is it me or the ML is a little bit creepy the way he treats his adoptive sister. The way he commands her, throws her around like a sack of potato, grabs her wrist and then he helps her with her studies so she can be successful but renounces to his own opportunities just to be around her.

They were friends and related by businesses. They adopted her because she was the daughter of their friends.

The two leads have such a great chemistry. It's over the top. Most couple can't reach that level. For me this year them and the main leads of IOTNBO are above.

Why so many people assume She and Xu Kai are a thing?

The two characters and the relationship are poorly written. She is not the only one annoying. They hinted at him being dumped and afraid of relationships but nothing really interesting on his side either. The whole thing with the 1% couple is so not cute and not sparkling compared to the part with the 100% couple.

Good that the drama did not follow old rules to make them date for weeks or months before they proceed to the"next level". They are a modern couple. They were living together, eating together already. Sleeping together after knowing each other's feeling was inevitable so the sooner the better.

OMG the scene with the wine has to be one of the most epic scene of chinese drama this year. I thought the mother saw through them and wanted to make him talk but she actually just wanted to show him how forgiving she is. Still it was so funny. In fact, the whole meeting with the mum was fun. Very enjoyable before they went back to tense matters.
