Honestly they are school kids. Were you expecting them to marry? I like the ending. It is mysterious because he disappeared but she keeps tracks on him and they both grow up with on their own site. This is nice. Love is also a matter of timing.

They don't get it from the jump. It is revealed by the jump. The ones who die supposedly were never gifted. To think of it.. it is quite an effective method to reveal who is gifted... :D
