She met the plantation guy twice before making the love potion. If the plantation guy found one tumbler she had at that time, it had no love potion in it so she would not need to worry and tell the ML that the plantation guy drank the potion.
When the plantation guy gave the tumbler back to her on their third meeting he said it was "over there" meaning somewhere in the park with trees. Then later, in the restaurant, she asked herself if he drank the potion. Days later, she asked him directly if he drank the content of the tumbler like she was sure there were still potion in it and he said yes.
The only logical conclusion is that the tumbler still had love potion in it and she forgot it in her bag. The next day she put a bottle of water in her bag and went to the park. There she lost the tumbler and the plantation guy found it and drank the content/potion. Then he sent the roses...

I agree there is plenty of direction they could go instead of focusing on love triangle or love squarre. The past lives, the disease in his head, the hands haunting him, the guy in white in her house who disappeared, SML backstory... Hope they will manage things better to make the story more complex.

Not sure about Na Yeon but they have a connection from their past lives that makes them special for each other. Maybe it means romance in their present life too? Before the love spell, he was quitte full of himself and rude with her but still, he paid attention to her like when he followed her in the dark street and saved her from an aggression. He even hold her hand.

I don't think the SML took any of the potion. Like you said he was interrupted before, and the ML drank it.
Then FL left the tumbler containing the remaining love potion on her own desk before rushing out. When she came back her senior gave it to her open and probably empty because you don't keep a tumbler filled and open in a drawer.
The senior said it was on the floor and he took it as a security measure. She asked if he drank the content. He did not say "yes". He said, "was I not supposed to?". So, it is possible that he found the tumbler empty on the floor and was jokingly trying to make her believe he drank it when he didn't.
As for the plantation guy, she met him the next day. So, it is likely that she refilled her tumbler the morning before her workday. And not with love potion since she used all of it the previous day. So why she would worry and tell the ML that the plantation guy drank the love potion and even drank more than the ML did?

Plenty of kids do that and they are lying because one wants to go training and the other wants to accompany her. It is not like they are lying so they can go partying to drink and smoke weed. They are good kids but hey are surely not perfect kids. Their problem is that they are peculiar kids and they do not know what it can trigger.
