I hope while reading this - people also remember that this is during the pandemic that he was able to increase these brands sales by that much (as a spokesperson). A lot of other companies aren't doing as well during this financial hit but his brands are doing better than even last year by a huge margin (it speaks volumes).

Agreed! I think most of us just want him to be happy and if it takes time than we are more than willing to wait. I also don't believe in things such as his works have been "hindered". Especially since a lot of chinese dramas never really have a release date - they always tend to give a date like a week or 2 weeks in advance (if you are lucky) in most cases it just drops out of the blue. And I agree with your statement about him working on a new project - the only person that knows what his future holds is the man himself. Everyone else can just conjecture and they tend to be wrong. All of his surprise appearances have not once been released beforehand which clearly shows that no one knows where he is or what he is doing. Thank you for always spreading positive news - I feel like some people just want to believe in the worse even when there is good news.

Thank you for writing this article. It honestly kind of punched me in the stomach with how much he suffered for only trying to do his job and performing to the best of his ability. And his own company being apart of the "bullying" is also truly disgusting. Shows how truly resilient he is! I hope he can return back to his carefree life; being able to do his job (such as singing and acting).

Yea I tend to not trust anything unless Xiao Zhan or his studio posts it. Like someone on weibo posted the supposed filming license (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EfgahbAU8AEEuyi?format=jpg&name=medium) for this supposed drama. And just makes no sense - because it states that filming begins in July 2018. And we all know he just finished wrapping up Untamed in August and then had Jade Dynasty and right after Duoluo Continent. So when did he even have time to film this. Even the "leaks" don't make any sense. They can't get the lies straight.

I assumed it must have been fake news. Since the last time we saw him (the live for the play in the cute blue hoodie) - his hair was quite long and to be in a military drama you have to cut it. Sometimes you have to play Sherlock Holmes lol. Started to get used to not believing in anything unless it has been officially confirmed.

Oh. . .but she is that silly lol. Like Xu Wu screams bad guy but apparently to her he is the savior she has been waiting for (smh). Every single person knows that Pangzi is helping her - even random dudes on the street; but nope Piaopiao out there acting like a whole fool! Worse part about this whole thing is that we have to deal with her for another season. I feel like the male characters were written so perfectly but the female characters leave much to be desired. There isn't one female character that I actually like. The mute girl from the beginning also had the same type of personality of "I am better than everyone & my way is the best way". Like the villagers did not even ask for your help but yet here you are thinking that your documentary will change their lives (grrrr). It didn't even cross her mind that maybe they don't want the whole world knowing about their business. Like usually you are supposed to ask permission for this type of thing, but she out there secretly recording them and then shocked when they want them to leave. We leave one bad written female character just to end up with another. Here is hoping that season 2 we just get the iron triangle and they wrap up Piaopiao's part real quick (like 1 episode quick, lol).

Her daughter definitely is a lot smarter than her mom or maybe she isn't so easy to manipulate. But after episode 32 - I have officially given up on the mom. Idk what made her believe that the person who saved her daughter was Xu Wue and not Pangzi. Especially since Pangzi told her a thousand times that he was bad news. And of course now Xu Wue is gonna take advantage of her misunderstanding like a total bad guy would. Makes me feel bad for Pangzi who went through so much to help her and the only thing he gets in return is betrayal and lies.

Agree!! I hate her character. She tells Pangzi that she doesn't require his help but than turns around and takes help from the bad guys. Like how can you trust someone you just met over someone that has been constantly helping you. Every time Pangzi gives her money she has this attitude of "i don't need your help" - but when someone else helps her she's okay with it. Like OMG! And on top of that she constantly trying to betray her "supplier" (aka Pangzi) who gave her a job. Even after she took one of his items and gave it away to that sleaze bag (another thing that made me mad - like you don't want to take Pangzi's money but you are okay with stealing an item and giving it away to someone to clear your debt - hypocrisy). And than begged her "supplier" for another chance - like bro!!!! Idk why Pangzi is so good to her - she does not deserve it.
