Lol, the more people tell me about the novel - the more I want the actual drama lol. *inner cry* It's okay - the book will be a good start lol.

Lol, I feel like we are on the same boat. Watching the trailer just made me want to watch it even more. The dilemma! We want them to take their time to give us a great drama but the patience is killing us lol.

November 15 is a sort of place holder for MDL. There is no actual confirmation date sadly :(. Most people are divided in believing that it will release in 2020 or 2021. I personally think 2021, because Oath of Love was shown at a conference for 2021 dramas. But 2020 is possible - to be honest any date is possible when it comes to chinese entertainment dramas XD lol. The air dates literally drop out of the blue lol.

They ended on July 03, 2019. According to the recent Tencent conference - they stated that the post production of the drama is still being taken place. The CGI is probably going to take more time since they probably want to make it perfect :).

I enjoyed the aspect of this drama - especially the ML's struggles to become successful along with the family plot. How he had to fight with society and his family to let his dreams become reality. It was truly heart wrenching in the beginning. Park Bo Gum did a great job especially when he was in his father's truck just crying after all the hardships he went through - that part got me. However, the romance was ehhh. I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole romance story - maybe because I couldn't see the chemistry. I feel it seemed more like they were best friends, than lovers.

Ahh really! I have an itch to ask you what the changes are lol, but I also don't want to spoil things. Thank you for your input though :D!

So question . . . is anyone gonna read the novel before this show airs? Or, they just want to be surprised by the plot of the drama?

Yup, and it did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing! Especially that CGI & of course Xiao Zhan dubbing Tang San himself :O! Now all that is left is to patiently wait :D!

From watching the trailer - I can now totally understand why it's taking so long. The CGI looks absolutely stunning - probably requires a lot of post production time. But looks worth it :D!

From what I heard - the other platforms like iQiyi should get it by November with english subs. Just don't quote me on that lol. Since I am not 100% sure.

Maybe I am naive but I don't understand how people could create entire accounts just to hate on someone. Why put so much effort into hating someone when you can put that effort into the idol you actually like?

I also dislike certain actors/atheletes but my extent of dislike goes to just avoiding their works. Why waste time on someone I don't like? People have a right to dislike Xiao Zhan - just like I have a right to dislike the idol they might prefer. But creating an entire account just to spout hate is honestly disgusting. I have seen some anti accounts - & the things they say is stomach churning & is void of any reasoning. They just hate to hate.

I feel like people forget that bullies - even in movies are always the bad guys. And the only reason no one speaks out against the bully isn't because they are right - it's because people are afraid of them. They don't want to elevate the issue & just hope the bully will get tired of the constant attacks. And right now xFx are just waiting & hoping that bullies will finally get tired & leave XZ alone or the criminal justice system will stop the bully.

Your comment about social media being toxic is so true. This whole cyber bullying thing just depresses me - like how as a society can people in good conscious attack someone that didn't even do anything wrong. Like it would be one thing if he cheated, hit someone, etc. but this man did NOTHING & his entire career was put on hold. I have so much respect for him though because he is staying strong through all these attacks. If that was me - I would not be able to stay calm knowing I had no control over this situation.

I feel haters/anti's forget that the people they attack are just human. And maybe they should ask how they would feel if someone did that to their idol or if they themselves got attacked.

The person who answered before about them filming it before his haircut is right. They tend to actually record most of the promotional stuff all at once and then release the content at a scheduled time. So, if u actually go back and see his Budweiser, Luckin Tea, KKZ, Roseonly ads - his outfits are all the same in most of his promotions but just released on different days. So no wigs it just content they decided to finally release.

I would love it if they released content with his new hairstyle though. It looks really good on him lol. Especially in those new studio pics.
