That might be the case but from the one preview I saw it seems to still be about JingPing. It will be interesting to see though who gets revealed first. The masked man or the 3rd villain. I kind of hope its the 3rd villain because than we can still assume that maybe the masked man is a bad guy as well lol. Which the theory is still out there.

Just saw the posters for those characters - and ur right it does lol. I sort of skipped them before and just saw the leads lol. But idk why the drama team would spoil it like that? Seems a bit strange. Maybe its a cover up? Kind of seems a bit strange to do that.

He has always wanted the love of his father. I think he just can't bring himself to hurt his ownn father. Even though he wants to have revenge for his part in killing his mother - but in the end he can't do it. I think he still wants to protect him. Like him jumping in to save his father from the sword. I really hope ZZQ leaves his father and becomes his own man - I do like his character and would like it if he has a good ending.

I thought it might be BingWen - I feel like the woman was my first though. But more I thought about it the less I felt it was a woman. because the woman would the princess of Dongxia (FL's mom). But why would she want to steal the relic when it originally was from Dongxia. She wouldn't just collude with outsiders as well who would want the relic for themselves and probably not return it to her country. So she doesn't make sense. Idk a lot of stuff still needs to be answered but we do have like 14 episodes left.

I think I know who the 3rd villain is but not entirely sure. I think it might be BingWen. I know a lot of people commented that he might be the masked man but idk why I feel BingWen just seems too righteous. Like its a front - I just don't trust him.

Like I have never seen him actually go against the Eunuch or JingPing. Just always acting like the righteous man but never really doing anything to show for it.

Yea I think i have seen him as well but can't point out where. But dude is spectacular - I am enjoying the performance. I just hope the 3rd villain can fit those shoes as well - a very hard task.

Yea I agree with that. He seems to resonate with the whole "I might lose the battle but I will win the war" statement. Like yes he will lose a couple of fights and even make dumb mistakes but in the end he will win lol.

I won't even lie some of the things he does - I would definitely do. Like laugh at my enemies face - I wish more people did that. The satisfaction is great lol.

I don't think that is the case - if you watch the preview for the next episode. The person who made a dumb move wasn't Zang Hai it was actually the Marquis. He went for a prison break - which we all know is an immediate death sentence. I feel maybe that is what Zang Hai was planning on this entire time. He wanted the Marquis to feel desperate and had no choice but to revolt - which according to the previews that is exactly what he is doing. It is pretty much the end for the Marquis. He dug his own hole and Zang Hai forced him to do so.

I know but I am over here at the edge of my seat. Like whats gonna happen now to Zang Hai. I know he wants the Marquis to do something stupid so he can be executed and he can cross him off his list but it feels like he just taking chances at this point. I would just be sitting at the corner with a bag of popcorn and watch the marquis dig his own hole.

I honestly thought JingPing was the big bad but I think it was always noted tht the 3rd villain is the big bad. But the actor for JingPing is crazy good. Dude has the aura to be the Final Boss. It is gonna be hard for any villain after him to outshine that performance.

I haven't either but just saw some scenes on social media and I can honestly say I am scared for him lol. And I saw the preview for tomorrows episode. It is going down. Like its a nail biter at this point - u don't know what is going to become of his revenge and who is a part of it or if everyone is a part of it.

Well the ML in Nirvana in Fire actually had power and fame. While Zang Hai has nothing to his name lol. He isn't supposed to exert confidence - he is literally an underdog. While the ML in Nirvana in Fire was known as the worlds greatest strategist to the point where royals wanted him to work for them and went to great lengths to do so.

No one really wants Zang Hai - he has no experience and isn't rich and is an orphan. He has to work with the resources he has and lets be honest it isn't much. While the ML in Nirvana in Fire only has resources and literally a network of spies and soldiers. I feel comparing them 2 is a bit unfair. I understand they are both smart main leads. But its kind of comparing a rich kid starting a new business to a poor person who has like $10 to their name but both succeeding in their businesses. The rich kid is going to have a smooth ride but of course the poor kid is going to hit a lot of roadblocks and no one is going to believe in them until he actually succeeds.

ME TOO. Why did he do that? Like why?

I know and I don't mind that. BUT waiting for the setbacks to get resolved is gonna KILL me. And it won't even happen like maybe the next 2 episodes. might be like the next 4 episodes.

I HATE CAO Eunuch. I can't believe that man just walking around. I don't even understand why he wants the relic so badly. Dude is a EUNUCH.

Idk why we got so many evil villains in this drama - and all of them u just want to kill urself. Everyone is doing a great job being a heinous villain. Because I do hate them lol.

Yea so far they are doing great with the execution and the pacing. I hope they don't ruin it by adding something at the last minute like most c-dramas do. But if they add the element in a good way - I think it should be fine. We have seen JingPing already kind of in a fight with the undead. I feel like that might be the extinct of it. Like they might fight an army filled with undead or maybe no one finds the relic and Zang Hai buries it forever.

Lol, he is. But too be honest making up a lie on the spot kind of does look like that. My lies are just as bad when u give me 10 seconds to think. He just got lucky tht Mr. 8 came in for the save. Dude was a goner.

But than again I don't even think Mr. 8's father is a bad guy. If anything he might be the good ones or maybe not. I don't really trust anyone in this show lol.

Yea that is where I sort of starting liking ZZX. I felt he wasn't bad but just yearned for love. He jsut wanted someone to love him for who he was and not because of his title. And sadly everyone around him just saw him as his fathers son - only his mother didn't and she was already dead. I do hope he finds true love - someone that actually cares for him.

Umm I believe it was episode 8. A very small encounter with a servant in JingPing's resident. He came to Zang Hai and said no one can leave the residence for 3 days because Qu Jian had killed himself.

He pretty much just took fault for the mistake that happened with the death of Yang Feng or w.e. his name is - the one who died in the tombs and got shot by an arrow by Qu Jian.

Lol, yea. And I do feel like he cries to make himself look weak. Everytime he does it - u can tell he is faking it. Just trying to seem innocent in all the scheming he is doing behind the scenes lol. I mean its working for him.
