I may have not grown up in Korea in the 90's but I did grow up in the 90's and this drama had so much cheesy 90's nostalgia. This drama was a light and easy watch that had me laughing out loud for most of it. It does drag just a little towards the end, but not enough to dismiss it all together. Most people complained about the Seung Woo and Hyun Jae pairing, saying he is twice her age and yada yada but really he is her age. He might have been born in 71 but when he time skipped into the future he did not age up to his true age. Besides I liked this pairing more than if she had ended up with Jihoon. That being said I thought that Jihoon would end up with Hye Ri and I am kind of sad that plot line didn't go anywhere. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Hyun Jae and Seung Woo and I thought this drama had hear.
No no I get that. I just wanted to know if Mike the actor will be dubbed by someone else as in not his own voice. Like in Skip Beat where they had Chinese actors dub over the Korean actors. I am not saying it is bad, and I do know that many different accents exist in China, and all of the Asian countries really. I am sorry if I wasn't clear or came off insulting. I just wanted to know if Mike is the real voice coming out of Mike or if it is a different person. I know he speaks Chinese but I do not know how much. I am really looking forward to this drama ^^ I hope my questions did not come off rude or insulting I really didn't mean them to be I am just bad at words.
I really really love this drama. I think it is pretty underrated. It exceeded my expectations for Lee Hong Ki. (I have a weakness for the 'douchebag with a secret heart of gold' as I like to call it) I have only see him be funny so I was happy to see him in this role. The only thing I always thought was weird was Yi Hyun's love for Do Rim. I know that Yi Kyung is technically his step sister but he has still been around for many years (20) and they might be different but they look the same...but you know it's a drama so I put that aside, initially though it gave me the heebies.
I want to watch this drama but I just finished Kluen Cheewit and Mark and Yaya were so good. Is this good? I see…
I just found it looking through the comments on here someone posted where to find it. Thank you very much ^^ I will probably watch this next. Thank you for all your help!
Does anyone know if there is a webtoon for this drama? Like an official one that you can read or purchase? I have been buying webtoons in book format for Korean study because they are often pretty easy to read (like Orange Marmalade)
I want to watch this drama but I just finished Kluen Cheewit and Mark and Yaya were so good. Is this good? I see…
Thank you for telling me. Romantic comedy is actually my favorite genre I a new to dramas like Kluen Cheewit. ( It was good but it was soo intense I think I want something cute and less stressful afterwards) I will definitely watch this then. Since this is like a series can I start here or should I start with Thara Himalai? Thank you for your answer ^^
After watching Kluen Cheewit, I have the biggest crush on him. It took almost the whole series for him to smile but when he did it was like the sun coming up. Seriously talented and seriously gorgeous <3 <3
I didn't think I would like lakorns and Thai dramas so much, and I especially didn't know I would like any of the slap/kiss ones at all but I just finished Kluen Cheewit and it actually rocked my socks off (also recently finished Leh Ratree). The thing I think I love about the villains in Thai stuff is their level of crazy. Like for instance without giving too many spoilers Kluen Cheewit had many different villains with different levels of crazy. Some of them were laughable like cartoon villains, some of them were down right despicable and it felt good to see them receive their karma and some were unexpected and started out like a villain but changed when either 1.)they learned the whole story or 2.) their true motive was outed. I like that in Thai shows the villain can be one dimensional (almost like a cartoon villain) or they can be outright bats&*t insane. Sometimes the villain can even be one of the leads that you are shipping the other lead with. Thai stuff, so far, has really kept me on my toes. I don't know if I can watch their more intense things all the time though I need a break with something cute because lakorns like Kluen Cheewit are a serious emotional rollercoaster that actually stressed me out a little.
Very relevant. I always thought second female leads are evil in korean dramas, until I watched lakorns and they…
Seriously! Lakorns and Thai dramas have some of the craziest characters! I watched one that was really cute but still the second female lead tried to drown the female lead AND hired someone to throw acid on her!
I wish there were enough words in the English language to describe the 30 hour roller coaster ride that this lakorn set me on. Seriously. I just finished it and I seriously have no words except that I really enjoyed it. Reading the premise honestly made me uncomfortable but I wanted to see the hype and I am glad I did. This lakorn is crazy as hell but I know I will rewatch it because Mark and Yaya had some of the most off the charts chemistry I have ever seen. (Although not too soon because my heart and feels cannot take it again so soon) This might be my favorite ever, and I have watched quite a feel dramas in my day but nothing has made me laugh, cry, and get frustrated to the point of needing to take a break like this has. I think I need to watch more things with Yaya and Mark in it but first I need to pet something cute and fluffy because my soul hurts after watching this in 5 days o_O
I'm reading the synopsis and that's A LOT of text for a summary/intro.
The synopsis almost scared me off but the rave reviews and good rating actually drew me in. I started 3 days ago and am on episode 9 (which is pretty far considering the show is an hour and 50 minutes each episode...but it is so good you won't notice the time fly.) So far I think the show is well worth the hype it is really interesting and keeps me ,atleast, constantly on the edge of my seat.
Y'all if you are watching this on Kissasian have some patience. I am so thankful someone subbed this for…
Thank you. I will have to watch it again. I don't want to knock people who sub because I know it can't be easy but the Kissasian subs were a bit distracting. I will definitely check out the other one ^^
Y'all if you are watching this on Kissasian have some patience. I am so thankful someone subbed this for us, but the subs on this one are a little off. You can get the gist of what is going on but often there are subs that don't make sense. If anyone finds it elsewhere please post.
Is this drama based off the book "Flowers for Algernon?" Like the one I read in Highschool ages ago that destroyed me? I don't know if I can watch this in drama form o_O
