Just some more moments that I loved: When SooHo removed the hair tie from her hair so slowly while staring into her eyes, that was beautiful. Also when she learned about his past and gave him those dolls and told him to start a new hobby to calm himself down? CUTE and supportive. When he sneakily gave her stuff to eat and drink, cute.
Just some things that I didn't like: SooHo being over-possessive and controlling in a bad way. My baby SeoJun not finding a love to love. The extra-horrid and borderline abusive mom who magically changes after a certain episode? Hell NO. The father who kept getting scammed and landed his family in debt multiple times? NO.
I don't think she's trying to act dumb, she just has low self-esteem i believe
really? tbh I liked the friendship between Seo Jun and the female lead, but I didn't necessarily want to see them date? Like, my heart hurt for Seo Jun but I know for a fact that he will find another girl, and it was also shown in the show that the lead couple liked each other from the very beginning, and they also knew each other's secrets, so I actually shipped the lead couple, but I wanted a better ending for our baby SeoJun certainly.

IKR? I totally liked the original lead couple too, they were super cute together from the very beginning. For my baby Seo Jun, I simply wanted a happier ending, a more romance-focused end with a different girl maybe.
Might get a lot of hate but I was never a fan of song song couple, never felt a chemistry between them. When I…
SO TRUE. Vincenzo is a once-in-a-lifetime kid of chemistry, you don't get to see it that often, and I've definitely never seen it with SJK, whether on or off screen with anyone!
Also, I honestly think the show was way more focused on showcasing Hwang In Yeops beauty in this show, that episode with the guitar riffs when he opens his eyes slowly? *PHEW* That was sexy beyond belief.
Pretty good watch, REALLY funny in many parts, and I think I have the Director to thank for that, who also made the amazing show 'Extraordinary You'.
I was already in love with MY BABY BOI HWANG IN YEOP AND I WANT TO HOLD HIM IN MY HEART BECAUSE HE IS SMOL AND MY HEART IS BIG AND HE'S JUST TOO ADORABLE AND HOT AND SWEET AND HE DESERVES THE WORLD.
I wouldn't say that I had SLS while watching this, surprisingly I felt a sweetness in the main couple, aside from the typical toxic possessive traits that most school romances seem to have, it was a pretty standard cute relationship. Instead I wished for Han Seo Jun to be happy, and I know once he achieves his dream he will open his heart to a loving, caring woman who will be perfect only for him.
I also LOVED LOVED LOVED the elder sister and her relationship with the teacher, it was A D O R A B L E to witness. She was an ICON. I also liked the other high-school couple, they were cliche, almost sickeningly so, but still cute to watch.
Also, I think this drama is two stories in one. One is a story about a beautiful young man, who's lived a humble and happy life with his two best friends, getting into shenanigans with them on the regular and creating music along the way, with a dream to become a singer someday. He then runs into a situation in life where his friendship is lost because of a tragic misunderstanding and he loses his dream along the way. He then finds it again after receiving closure and finding love in a completely unexpected way. He's finally happy and living his dream. The second story is of two individuals who met in two different scenarios, young and then old, both going through a tough time at the hands of their parent(s) and struggling to find a reason to live and be happy. They come closer through their shared interests, and give each other support through their respective struggles, self-esteem issues for the girl, and anxiety and panic for the boy. This strengthens their relationship and eventually leads them to a hopeful end.
The other school characters were fun to watch as well, I specially liked the teacher, and also the younger sister of Han Seo Jun, she was a badass, and the female lead's younger brother was hilarious with her.
I don't think she's trying to act dumb, she just has low self-esteem i believe
True. This show is really fun to watch, and I like this actress, but there's a lot of tropes they've used here (love triangle, oblivious female lead, overly cruel behaviour from some classmates, mean parents, rich boy/poor girl etc. etc) which I already knew about. I expected the female lead to be exactly like she is, and so I was prepared for it haha. But my man, Hwang In Yeop, as always is a complete scene stealer!
For those still feeling unsure, please watch this show to see the mighty BEAST that is Mr. Han Tae Seok sweep you completely off your feet from the moment he enters the screen. How he single handedly displays an alarming amount of sex appeal and grace and finesse and a raw sensuality that just SCREAMS of intelligence and power :)

Ah no, I meant that the actress was going to 'act' dumb for the character, not that the character itself is pretending to be dumb. And I do find the character dumb too tbh. She's got low self-esteem, but her ability to just stare at certain situations with a blank look on her face for a few minutes straight while other people talk around her, again and again and again, is just annoying. I guess she's fine otherwise. And I'm enjoying the show otherwise too!
If you can't let go of Vincenzo, then there's another Mafia Romance gem on Netflix called Kara Para Ask/Black…
Thanks for the rec, although I'll be honest, the 164 episode mark and the fact that it's a Turkish show are reason why I don't think I'll be able to watch it anytime soon. BUT I will recommend it to my mom who loved Vincenzo, and who also watches Turkish shows! I'm sure she'll like it a lot, so thanks so much!!
