The scene when the Crown Prince was dancing in front of his subject? C H I L L S
What a masterpiece. I can say with absolute certainty that Yeo Jin Goo acts best when pared with a hot DILF ahjussi actor. In this case, it was Lee Jung Jae.
This movie has one of my favourite tropes too, chemistry between a younger inexperienced man with an older experienced man, and it helps LOADS that the younger man is Yeo Jin Goo and that the older man is Lee Jung Jae.
I think you should maybe mark your comment as a spoiler!
Haha it was mostly because you said you cried in the last part. I mean, to be honest it's pretty obvious how a movie like this will end, but I still just wanted to make sure :) thanks

The title rightfully goes to the most over-rated and talentless actress I've had the displeasure of seeing.
YEO JIN GOO, MY MAN. He plays every character to a perfect T. An undeniable force to be reckoned with in front of the camera, he just wows me every time. Doesn't help that he looks so DAMN good with that Crown Prince outfit too. And Lee Jung Jae was stunning too, I am so surprised to see him looking sexy as all hell in many of his previous movies. WOW LOVED the movie.
I KNEW THAT ENDING WAS COMING AND YET I WASN'T PREPARED AT ALL
The epic bromance, the cuteness that is Yeo Jin Goo, he plays vulnerable and earnest and sweet and cute characters SO DAMN WELL gosh. He had great chemistry with the other lead, and the movie was funny as hell too. The way YJG ate that chocolate bar? The way he removed soldiers off of his tank in that one scene?? LMAO Loved the movie overall.
A gem of a film, so heartfelt and Yeo Jin Goo, as always, STOLE MY HEART! He has such a vulnerable aura about him, he plays all his characters so beautifully that it's breathtaking. All of the other cast was great too, the way they always manhandled the coach so roughly was HILARIOUS to watch. Also when they tried to stop him from leaving, then made him leave, then stopped him from leaving again, LOL it was cute and I think it depicted small-town behaviour quite well!! Overall a really cute movie, with a fairly satisfying ending.
Coming back to this show because I JUST CANT LET GO OF IT!!! h e l p This show was SO GOOD.
If you love a chill dark comedy, with SIZZLING chemistry between the main leads, a smart and logical and sexy male lead, an understanding and mature and endlessly charming and sexy female lead, villains full of charisma and brutality, side characters worth their salt (although annoying at times), and a whole lot of stunning cinematography and music, you'll LOVE this show!
Also I have newfound love for Jeon Yeo Bin and Song Joong Ki !
Just a rant. I'm at episode 19, han-seo was being heroic and fighting his brother, but vc decided to waste time…
You really think the writer wouldn't realise that it was a stupidly emotional move by Vincenzo? The whole POINT of that scene was to emphasise that in times of crisis, even a smart Mafia man loses his damn mind in trying to protect the love of his life. He's only human, he saw Cha Young in danger, and he reacted by going into panic mode to save her no matter at what cost. Han Seo helped him towards the end, and he's my baby, but has everyone really forgotten that he sent goons to maim Cha Young a little earlier? If it wasn't for Vincenzo, she would've lost the ability to WALK forever, and that's a pretty big offence, and of course a mafia man like Vincenzo would never forget something like that, so he had to put Cha Young first at all costs.
This show was cute, the female lead was ADORABLE and she reminded me so much of Kim Hye Yoon (the lead from Extraordinary You) because of her adorable bubbly nature and infectious spirit.
She was sweet, hilariously innocent and very S M O L especially in front of 'sir' Jang Ki Young. She was cute enough to make anyone want to just eat her up, and I guess that's exactly what JKY did too LOL
Overall a really heartfelt and innocent yet mature and logical romance all around. Many of the misunderstandings that came up in the show were cliched but all of them were cleared up soon after they were introduced in a very logical, straightforward matter, and our female lead specially never left any loose ends in expressing her feelings. She kinda reminded me of Cameron Diaz's character from the American movie 'My Best Friend's Wedding', earnest, brave, and genuine.
Also the actress who played this character was frankly too damn SWEET for me to not fall for her! She has an adorable smile, and an adorable voice, and an adorable personality, it just draws you in, and makes you want to eat her up for real (I know I'm repeating myself but it's too damn true).
Special mention to Sun Woo, he played a really convincing role of someone who falls into bad habits because of their privilege and society, but realises it and grows out of it to become a better person. He clearly explained that his 'playboy' status was practically handed down to him (born rich, good looking, and smart, and SO many girls will play down their own self-respect to be seen with him no matter how he behaves with them etc. etc.), and he wasn't necessarily a jerk, just arrogant and ignorant, both of which he overcame. Not excusing his behaviour, but he became better in a very realistic manner, which I liked.
Oh my! I just watched At A distance, spring is green and i didnt notice he was that playboy from My Roommate is…
To be fair he played the cutest/sweetest playboy ever even in that show, he was like a puppy who happened to be so cute that all the girls loved him! LOL

An easy 9/10. for me.
