I am all for the protective love struck 2nd lead but something about Yu Mo. I hate to say it but for me I think it's the actor. He's handsome and his acting isn't bad but personally to me he doesn't have that charming screen presence.

I could watch Tang Zhou and Yan Dan flirt, tease and bicker everyday. They just give off young childhood love.

And omg that lamp witch really irks me. I'm stabbing her hundreds of times in my head.

The way Tang Zhou looks at Yan Dan is way too cute. When you are soulmates, no matter how many lifetimes you get, you will always love the same person.

I don't like Zhi Xi still. So I would prefer more Yan Dan/TZ scenes.

And I don't know if the actor and Yang Zi just don't have chemistry or if it's the way they wrote his character. Because this is one of those rare occasions where I don’t care for the 2nd lead. Most dramas even when they were obsessed, I could still ship them. But not Yu Mo....

Honestly I wouldn't mind the drama turning into Yan Dan and Tang Zhou catching evil spirits and tossing out the whole heavenly plot. (I don't want to cry)

She can be the bubbly ghost shield and he be the moody hero.

Too much Yu Mo/Yan Dan and not enough Tortoise Flipper Man/Yan Dan. They just met for 20 min and the episode was over wuwuwu

He doesn't annoy me but his character doesn't give me that excited heartbeat vibe most 2nd leads give. So I don't love nor hate him.

I still hate Zhi Xi and I wish I was glad she got rid of Ying Deng but I'm not. Because I gurantee 99.99999999% she's going to annoy us to death in the mortal realm.

Ep 10 solidified my opinion about the mother. Hate her and nothing will change my mind. WYW's father dodged a bullet.

Ying Yuan meeting Yan Dan at the river was so heartbreaking. Seeing Yan Dan suffer for hundreds of years is so cruel.

But shoutout to Yu Mo for being the best side character.

100% agree. I listen to alot of true crime stories and I do admit many of them have tragic childhoods but that doesn't excuse them from hurting others. I feel the same about Min woo. No matter what he went through, I don't agree with the way he's treating WYW. But who knows...we have 7 more eps so maybe he'll make a full change. He might be like Sungjoon in Crash Landing On You. Hated him in the beginning but ultimately became a favorite of mine.

Ep 9 makes me think he might end up with Soo Yeon and I am not going to be a happy camper. He cannot have Soo Yeon or Rami.
