3 happy endings, I will take it. Chujun and Xinnan are so cute on their wedding. And then we have Fu Rou who always likes to say no to Chumu, lol And finally my couple Yan Zifang and Ying Ying. Being a pirate wife shouldn't be bad...lol
I wonder who are still here from the beginning, when it first start airing? I guess those of us who are still…
Me! Here since ep 1. Patiently waiting for the last 3 eps. But I'm waiting for 3 things 1. Chumu and Fu Rou's wedding. And Chuling and Xinnan's as well. 2. Fu Shui and Consort Wan/Yan (Prince Zhou's mom) to die. 3. And finally....to cry for Ying Ying and Zi Fang.
Watched this drama a long time ago but just had to come add my two cent. 10/10 I have nothing bad to say about this drama. Gu Yan Zhen was a delightful male lead character. He's charming, flirty and very protective of the female lead. What is so charming about this drama is the chemistry between the students of the military. We get to laugh and cry with them. And all the side characters were likeable. You'll like Manting. She's the cool type of 2nd female lead and her partner Shen Ting Bai was the highlight for me.
I'm only on ep 52 but if I had to rate this drama thus far, I would give it a 7. The first half is actually a 10 for me. The romance, light comedy, family interaction and the cast chemistry was amazing. It's the last half that I would even have people avoid watching to save themselves from anger. It felt like the director got lazy and gave up. There was really way too many unnecessary scenes and deaths. For ex. 1. How can the empress just kill Queen Han without proper investigation? This was her son's beloved wife. 2. King Zhou literally being a stalker. Like Fu Rou doesn't like you, take a hike. If she did, she would have given you the okay signal. And he always causes problems for Chumu and Fu Rou's relationship. 3. Fu Rou can talk her way out of most situations but can't even explain herself to Chumu. 4. The main couple are apart more than together in the last half. 5. The Crown princess will drive you crazy. She is the type of villain you want to slap over and over again.
51 was such a failure. The moment we all waited for Chumu and Fu Rou to makeup was a flop. Like how did they make up? I can use my imagination but others would think they made up because she gave him thr elixir.
We are done to the last 5 eps. I'm just curious how they are going to wrap everything up in 5 eps. I hope King Zhou's mother dies. I hate her. But then again, I don't like him either. Always blocking Chumu and Fu Rou's relationship. But omg! Why couldn't King Liang and Ying Ying meet one last time. I'm kinda sad now. I love when villains die a bad death but here I'm glad they humanized King Liang at the last moment from a heartless abusive man to someone who has learned what love is.
Just finished 48. Finally some movement. Finally getting rid of some villains. Now I'm ready for Chumu and Fu Rou to make up. And unpopular opinion but dang, I loved that King Liang came back for Ying Ying knowing how dangerous it was. I somehow wished she was there wuwuwu. If only he wasn't a villain and killed so many, I would have loved to see them together.
I'm happy for Lee Da Hee but very angered about the whole Seo Ye Ji issue. Why does she need to step down. It's those no good dispatch that needs to be cancelled.
What is FuYin trying to achieve telling LuQi the entire truth in ep 44? Gosh, just when you think this girl can't…
I think she was in a state of shock and anger that she said everything to him. In a sense, I'm glad she said it but at the same time, now he knows. And he'll have his guard up against her. Which does no good to her revenge.
Lmaoo!!! I don't think the misunderstanding between these two will be resolved any time soon. Everyone here has…
Exactly! Like she can speak her mind to EVERYONE but Chumu. Like if he tells you why he is mad, why are you just standing there and not telling him what really went down. They could have been together by now if she had just said something.
i can agree more and you said it all geez i didn't know that all the other character's aside from the main lead…
Omg! Right! When the empress ordered the execution of Queen Han, I lost all respect for her. Not that I had much to begin with. And then she expects King Han to act as if nothing happened and get him a new wife. Inconsiderate hag. Like lady....you killed your son's wife without even doing a proper investigation.
I'm really sad about Queen Han. She and her husband were my favorite. And they didnt even get a proper goodbye. Like WTF directors. But ep 42 was quite satisfying. Seeing King Han go against Crown Prince in court was beautiful. Crown Prince does not have the brains or balls and can't even control his snake wife. What makes him think he can run a country. And my liking for Fu Rou went from an 8 to a 1 real quick after seeing the clips for upcoming eps. She speaks about right and wrong and justice yet she continues to protect the evil. If she protects the evil, who then shall protect the innocent from them? So many lives could havr been spared if Fu Rou had let that snake Crown Princess die. And I was really rooting for Ying Ying and Zi Fang but he turned out to be a disappointment. She was right. He does not deserve her.
I'm starting to wonder, does China have a secret obsession with tearing apart lovers? I swear 99% of cdramas I watch, someone has to die. I'm really sad Queen Han is going to die. I literally love them the most. If they tear apart anymore of the Sheng family couples, I'm going to have to speak to the directors.
And I don't know how I feel about Luqi. I feel his character was redeemable if he hadn't killed Fu Rou's mother. This couple to me is strange. How do you love your mother's killer?
Regardless, throughout this whole mess, I hope the Sheng family find happiness. And I hope Ying Ying and Zi Fang end up together. I have a feeling she might die tho....
I was here for the leads but Cha Dol has me head over heels for him. He's just about the cutest boy. Back on topic, the storyline is good and the cast is perfection. Def. a good 2 eps so far.
