Btw.. did anyone notice that Lian and Lan just got married.. I could tell only by their outfits and wondered if I missed a scene or episode. Lian's status could have been implied but Lan surely deserved a wedding scene, for sure!
I just finished this drama, and I cried so hard in 38-39! The ending was definitely rushed... I expected Ye Xian to get a posthumous title as Marquis, given his sacrifice, and then also see how the Country gave him a befitting burial.
All good, but it's a rushed ending with missing pieces... Even the voiceover at the end about the Emperor's decree should have sufficed. SMH!
Why would the emperor issue a decree against his family? I know someone dies...I'm assuming it's his dad.
I don't even know… just clips here and there on TikTok! I watched a clip on Weibo where the burial procession was same day as Gu Zhao’s wedding. Like… Ye Xian can't catch a break 😩
I was looking forward to this drama because of the Joseon Survives to the 21st Century story, but thus far I'm…
I-AN has always had the qualities of a “perfect king,” and he’s consistently proven himself more deserving of the title than the Crown Prince (His late brother). Even his father seemed to recognize this—changing his title three times and repeatedly asking him not to stand in the Crown Prince’s way.
Now, as Regent, he’s essentially functioning as the true monarch, especially since his nephew is only eight. Most of the ministers—aside from Lord Inyeong—already support him, and that makes the Queen uneasy. If he ever decides to claim the throne, there likely wouldn’t be much opposition. The public, the royal court, and even the politicians all seem to favor him.
As for the Queen’s resistance on his marriage, I’m not entirely sure what’s driving it. She's Cray..Cray!
OOOUU!! I need ALL the episodes ASAP 😭🔥 The pacing is so good, the visuals are stunning, and that comedy mix?? Perfect.
The only part that’s not sitting right with me is her going after the Heir position. Yes, she’s more than capable, no doubt… but I really feel for Taeju. His mum literally died because of that reveal she made as a child. Even if it wasn’t intentional, it still hits like she played a part in it.
That being said, the real blame is on the father. From her perspective, he only ever reacted when she made demands, so I get why she is the way she is. Still… I really hope she and Taeju reconcile. They’d be such a powerful duo—honestly, she’d thrive as his business advisor instead ✨

Yeah! I knew it when the gossip lady talked about how she was refined and must have been from a brothel. So it's said that she's a noble woman and Fan’s dad married into her family (her father was a general surname “Meng”).
As for, Qi Min I read that he loves her in a twisted way (lol) and he was actually drugged by his nanny and that's why he violated her. Most people are hoping they get a HE unlike the book.
Can someone tell me if Qian Qian and Bo'er get out of there any time soon or do they stay with that monster until…
It's said that in the book, he willingly dies by her hand. His Son becomes Emperor because he's actually an imperial grandson, and Changning is the next Empress. The Fan sisters are actually of Noble birth.
All good, but it's a rushed ending with missing pieces... Even the voiceover at the end about the Emperor's decree should have sufficed. SMH!
He goes on a rampage after Zhao says she only sees him as a friend and the king issues a decree against his family in Ep 25!
Anyone else scared of the marriage contract getting leaked? I mean, that's usually what happens, right?

I'm only wondering when she finally discovers that she's a marchioness....
