The styling is so wrong on him. I think he looks better and hotter in his instagram posts. Only due to the synopsis and I figured it would be sorta bodyswap Kdrama Joseon version of The Day of Becoming You. It makes sense since they both are not as a straighforward, reveal all my cards type people to each other. They communicate but withhold so much and don't say everything that needs to be said. It's like bits and pieces + flowery language and things can be taken different ways.

I agree with everything you said. There's way too much for us to unpack for 5 episodes. This drama would have benefited from something more superficial or even sugary if it was going to be 5 episodes because so much is lacking even though the bits we got make us want to finish watching this.

They've really messed up with the plot and character development. I know it's a makjang but most usually have a trajectory even with the grey/gray characters or people that switch sides depending on where the wind is blowing. The only consistent character has been Evil Queen NanSook and her Magical Mirror aka Chef. At this point, I would rather watch her take both "Kingdoms".
