It really wasn't that good, but that doesn't mean it's a bad film.
I gave it a 5/10.

Obviously, the over-view wasn't clear and I thought that, Naksu was a dude who went into Mu Deok, who's a woman.
If it's not traps, maybe I'll check it out?

This was, sadly, another excellent film ruined by a really stupid ending.

Anyway, I still feel that the epic flashback drew the film out way too much and added precious little but, ultimately, lowered the overall score.

Another film I never understood the hype for, this is a 6* at best, but I gave it a 5 because that's a more honest score.

I was going through the top movies list on this site, giving my rating to stuff I've seen, and I have to say, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST OVER-RATED FILMS EVER.

As for LGBT: I know gays and lesbians who are fully against trans and paedophilia - they HATE IT that LGB is being stuck with the T (and MAP/paedophile crap)!
I'm not denying that LGBT people exist, but most content comes with labels, such as, SEX, GORE, 18 - even PARENTAL WARNING - but LGBT is just sneaked into everything, taking away the option to not view it.
If I wanted to see gays, I'd go to a gay bar; instead, I go to straight pubs (where LGB people are welcome, but know that they have THEIR OWN BARS, if they don't want to respect straight people's sensitivities).

I can't be bothered arguing about this any more, but since this comment will likely be deleted, it shows that the counter-argument LACKS WEIGHT anyway!

A year too late, but I wrote it above just now: Peephole.

The manga is called, Peephole.

I was surprised when this got suggested to me and even more surprised when I saw the trailer and realised that it was a comic I was insanely frustrated by, because I loved its concept yet it never managed to be funny or serious, and had a really bad ending!
The whole time I was reading it though, I was kind of rewriting it in my head as an indie black comedy gem.

Let's hope that the film learnt from the manga's mistakes (I'll give it a rating once I've tracked it down).

Such a superb film that I wrote a review.

Once the Chinese got wind of a big budget Disney version being in the works, everyone and his mum wrote a script.
What this means is that, for audiences, it'll either be a case of there plain being too many or wanting to see them all to decide which one is best... but ultimately, each film will have difficulty getting ahead of the herd.

The 2007 version kind of sucked and this - with similar themes but a visibly smaller budget - wasn't particularly good either. I gave it a 4/10, but it could have been a 5 or 6 had the editing been tighter and the dialogue a tad more interesting.

Will I watch the other 46 Mulan films released this year to pick my favourite?
Well, this didn't exactly inspire me, and considering how gorgeous the actress playing Mulan is, the entire concept of men who haven't had p***y for a year not looking twice at her, nagged in the back of my mind, killing plausability.
