The pre sales are good..i think the chances of flopping are very less because it will do decent numbers domestically…
Usually, pre-sales are used to raise the money to make the film, so once the distributors make their expenses back (including marketing), it's profit.
The difference is that people see something cost €15,000,000 to make, and assume that, if it made €14,000,000, it was a flop. Factor in sponsors, the fact that all cast and crew have already been paid and, for the producers, it's nowhere near as bad as it seems.
Looking at it from a distributor's angle: if China put in €2.5m and it makes €5m, the film is a hit in China. If the USA had put in the same €2.5m and it only grossed €2, it's a flop in North America. The difference is that the producers should still be seeing profits from China, so even if a film doesn't make its money back on paper, under a microscope, it may well have been pretty successful.
Anyway, it looks like it's not coming to cinemas where I am, so I'll have to check it out on Viki in a couple of years.
He didn't do anything special asides from look good. Are you sure you're not being bias, due to personal tastes?
Wow, so he actually came out and cussed the writer/s and producer/s like that? I guess he has absolutely no intentions of ever working with them again (or anybody else, if he gets that kind of reputation).
why Japan??!!!!! why is it always Japan doing these kinda of things "human weapon" why???¡!!!! why it…
Well, I've never read the book, but there was one published that the Nanking Massacre was a hoax/propaganda. I'm not saying either way but, given the way the world is, I wouldn't be surprised... Japan supposedly did experiments on PoW prisoners too...
I hope that this hints as to why it's always the evil Japanese and your question is answered.
Mid. I gave it a 5/10... and that was being generous.
I didn't know what this film was about when I put it on; it started kind of cliché and then we got sudden gore so sickening, I actually felt ill and considered turning it off. For someone who's seen a lot of Japanese gore pics, that says something. I guess those are just completely absurd, whereas this scene featured realistic brutality and sadism.
Moving on, the film doesn't really improve and relies heavily on copious amounts of blood to cover up for a weak screenplay.
Being Netflix, there's a needless gay blow-job scene. Gotta push the LGBT agenda!
I'm certain anyone reading this can find something a whole lot better to watch. You've been warned.
Tedious. At least the kid wasn't the Hollywood-style autistic genius, figuring out everything because being made retarded by vaccines at birth is cool, yay!
Some people use "illegal" sites just to see what's new; others use them because the title wasn't released in their region; and then there are those who just want to watch free stuff... I see your point, but do you know which type we are?
A very enjoyable film about married life, but the advert (trailer) made it out to be a hilarious comedy, while it only has a few moments.
Some people may not get why she pretends to be dead, starting from their 3rd anniversary, but those people probably watched the film whilst looking at their phones. Definitely quirky and unique, but I doubt this will be anyone's favourite film... still, recommended - especially for a couple's night in.

It's shit.
Pretentious and LESBIAN, I turned it off not even an hour in. Screw sitting through another 2 hours of that trash.
A huge disappointment.

Cheers for that.
