is this movie queer? cuz the tags says nothing but it has win queer palm award
Because that would be a spoiler tbh. That's why the tag doesn't show anything. This site should make tags that you can spoiler tag like VNDB website does.
First time watching this drama mainly for the Bromance but I really liked everything about it but the production…
Something to be aware of, 90s dramas often feel newer than 00s dramas, not sure about 2010s dramas though. But yeah 90s dramas were more down to earth while mid 00s dramas were extra cringe (usually on purpose lol)
Agree with both of you...today people who watching kdramas are watching only because of love couple and who will…
They are spreading!
Also I think it's not just kpop/Kdrama extremists, I think in general people these days just cannot handle different opinions. I mean politics is a great example lol.
In the past we would just agree to disagree casually and move on to another conversation. Now if someone disagree even slightly they become the ultimate enemy lol. Then if you are someone who doesn't really have a strong opinion either way, both sides of the extreme will hate you for not choosing a "side" lol.
talk about being disrespectful to other peoples taste lol. Do you have an example of a better wuxia movie? Your…
Yeah Jackie chan usually has a great balance of serious and comedy. I get what you mean when things take themselves too serious, it leaves more room for you to judge the story more "seriously"
Yeah I would say I prefer wuxia over xianxia, like you said I prefer the bit more grounded feeling.
The comments her own grandmother made about Bong I's "assets", a 19 y.o girls body to a grown ass MAN were distressing…
Well I don't think it's much of anything to get upset over imo, since she's 19, and the grandmother comes from a time where it would have been the most normal thing in the world for a 25 year old man with a stable job and house to marry a 19 year old woman that's looking for a stable man to provide.
Of course it's the modern day now, but you have to judge people by their generation too, not in some black and white way.
And it's not like it's a forced marriage, she's just making casual silly remarks, the general relationship between them otherwise just felt naturally friendly more than anything. (at surface lol)
So yeah I can understand why it annoys you, but I can also understand and judge things based on culture, generation difference and the most important part "intent". The grandmother has good intentions.
Must be a record for me. I had to stop at the 10 minutes mark. I was not sure if I should laugh with how bad the…
What was bad about it? I haven't watched it, but if you mean the floating around etc, that's on purpose because characters in wuxia defy the laws of our world, they are more like super humans.

Those aren't movies, but I appreciate the recs anyway. I'll look deeper.
And yeah ok I get what you mean with your list.
Jackie Chan movies are great, but they are more human than this, he always tries to show himself getting hurt and always trying to avoid fights "I don't want trouble" type of scenes, which makes the fight scenes really entertaining. But wuxia is different, I wouldn't really compare most of his movies to wuxia. Wuxia has more superhuman type characters and a lot of power play stuff.

19 is a grown ass woman though lol. It's normal for a lot of cultures granparents or parents always trying to marry off their family member to a good man, and I think the character for the actor is supposed to be younger than the actor anyway. But yeah....we know how that turned out
Actors were great but the show tried to be too clever and got convoluted. I was lost for a great part as things…
Yeah while it was airing, we had to watch Predator before the next episodes came out, so you really have to watch predator before the show finishes. So after episode 15 you have to watch Predator before episode 16 to 20 to get the experience we got while it was airing. Then it feels right.

I can't fairly judge Good Boy since I haven't watched it, but yeah quite a lot of kdrama fans are really similar to kpop fans, in that they are super extremists fans that makes it hard for the rest of is to judge if something is good or not because they rate everything as good. (I like kdrama too but try to be balanced)
If you want horror, watch Ring, Pulse, Cure or Audition etc

"it made me wonder why that person thought it would be a similar drama" Seemed like you didn't udnerstand to me, oh well.
