Right, it's the most jdrama coded kdrama I've seen and that's a compliment. Can't think of anything else like…
Haha I know what you mean, the character focused interactions have that feeling.

Title Hard Boiled
Facts. This website's ratings never fail to make me laugh
Yeah I know I never said it was right? haha. I was speaking about asian dramas in general, obviously I know it's a classic it's one of the first Hong Kong movie DVDs I bought like 25 years ago.

I was replying to your comment "it's just funny how folks heap praises at generic show №10000"

I just meant the ratings in general here hides a lot of hidden gems with lower ratings on this website. You gotta dig deeper through all the 10/10 idol kdrama to find some cool stuff, especially if you are someone with low knwledge of asian drama/movies.

Yeah Bullet in the head is good shit.

I've watched 5 episodes and not sure if I can continue or not, gonna try watch all 10 before judging. But so far this show is starting to irritate me with how in your face almost every scene is, no sense of subtle writing. It's constant: "Im so old" "she is young" "i'm a hag" "he's a boring old man" "Woman are like this" "Men are like that" almost every single scene is something to do with them talking about their age or sex, like I'm not even exaggerating. So weird imo. Maybe the last 5 episodes will chill with that.

So I'm hoping this builds to something more interesting than them constantly pointing out their age and sex. I really loved Beach Boys from the same writer.

edit: Episode 6 seems to suggest something with the younger brother that may make it more interesting since he seems like a interesting character.

Only episodes 4-10 have been subbed, but still there are raws for all of them. I'm liking this drama a lot.
Too late, but someone you youtube uploaded and made subtitles for all the episodes and the special. Just search for Aishiatterukai! 愛しあってるかい

Yeah that's why this show is so good, it's similar to Mr Bean where a lot of the comedy can come from not even…
Yeah Torrents is the best way to really enjoy asian drama other than what's already on amazon prime/netflix. And Nyaa is great if the torrent happens to be there because no egistration needed.

Avistaz is great, they always have the best quality versions too. JPTV feels like it's better for variety shows etc

But you can watch season 1 on kissasia for streaming, not good quality and make sure you use ad blocks if you do watch here

Season 1 is too good to miss.

I assume you are joking about it inventing it right lol, there's way older very famous slice of life Jdrama, otherwsie…
Thank you, sounds comfy. I have an avistaz account so I'm fine with the first two seasons, also I'm learning Japanese so I should be good anyway!

you should try torrents, way better quality usually.
nyaa.si is a great site for that, I checked and it's there, this site won't let me link it here though.

Avistaz is the best for asian drama torrents but only open for registration sometimes.

This is a popular show, so it's likely in a lot of places.

Also if you want to watch it legally it's on amazon prime for streaming too

Hi, that's cool that you have people like that around you. Yeah I can totally understand when emotions take over like that, but it's admirable to be able to rethink and grow from things like that, so I have respect for that.

Ah cool thanks, seems like the other person spoiler tagged their comment after I mentioned spoiler too. That's nice, usually people complain about having to use a spoiler tag if you ask them lol

Title Tokyo Love Story Spoiler
There was not a single drop of love in this show. And never have I hated a character, not even the most evil ones,…
In my opinion it's more like:

Nagao Kanji always had one woman on his mind, Rika was just a distraction, a good one because he wasn't confident that his true love would ever be a real thing, and Rika was doing a good job giving him hope for another life.

Akana Rika knew that Kanji had another woman on his mind and the more she stayed with him the more real she knew this to be, she knew that the relationship would never last and Kanji would never "truly" be happy even if it did, that's why she was acting weird. So the ending was her deciding to put aside her feelings and let Kanji be happy with the girl he's always loved. Because she loved him that much. It was a decision for the best for both of them.

I don't really get why you are saying there was no such thing. But yeah.

p.s I agree that Satomi was the most annoying character.

Title Tokyo Love Story Spoiler
The ending has a lot of depth, lots of small things that shows growth and resentments. Isn't for everyone, too…
It's not coping, the ending had proper meaning of learning to move on when you know things would never turn out the way you want it to. It was never gonna be a relationship that lasts, the MC had his eyes on another woman since forever. So in a way the ending was an impressive show of mental stength to do the best for the person you love. e.g by moving on.

That's how I see it, I'd appreciate if you wouldnt dismiss other peoples views in such a disrespectful way calling it cope etc

It's really one and only Asian drama of 90's I've watched last year and I am badly missing after finishing it.…
Did you try Beach Boys?

generally any Japanese production from before 2010's scares me away mainly because of the video quality of a microwave…
Actually 90s dramas tend to look and feel better vs 00s dramas where they started becoming more cringe (on purpose) with trimmed eyebrows, anime style acting, funny hairstyles etc
