Those last 3 minutes of ep 4 is INSANE!!!! Whuttt! The director really leveled up from 'Secret Relationships' because HELLOOO WHAT WAS THAT!!! Now I understand why this series was trending. This KBL series is really becoming the best so far this year and it's proving from the score🔥🔥🔥
Props to Kim Kyung Min as Chu Tae Jeong & Kim Seung Beom as the main leads. They were amazing as the cat&mouse detective-killer couple! Also to Lee Jeong Ho as the main antagonist really, he did play the 'innocent friend' villain very well! This was Kim Kyung Min & Lee Jeong Ho first acting roles, so huge applause to them!!! 👏
Chaotic, messy but good show with a fine ending! The suspense and action were top notch! The episodes could've been in my opinion longer to know more well of the characters and their motives & background. All of the main leads were actually pretty good and had chemistry, even the antagonists! 8/10. Recommended! 👍
I'm more of a fan of the GMMTV actors, also after seeing Only Friends, kinda wish they would've gone that route with network, actors, etc with this series.. In my opinion they're really good looking.
Idk well the actors, but so far from what I've seen the actors somewhat do give the vibes of the original characters. And they look good. So that's well done!
As a huge fan of the original Korean BL version of "Secret Relationships", I didn't feel enough of the dark, toxic suspense that the original had, which was also what made it so good. But you know what? They are not making the exact same thing as the Korean version, which is actually good. The Thai version is actually doing its own thing, and I hope it goes well for the BL fans. I'm looking forward to seeing how people will eventually react to this series, but this version so far is just not my cup of tea.
The original title was "Killing House" apparently before they change it into "The Lie We Lived In". If so, then it kinda lives up to its original title tbh.
Just watched and catched up on all 6 eps and wth is even going on?! Like whuttt? The cast looks good but everybody seems to be a killer/bad person lol, and Tae Jeong is just there being an incompetent cop in all of this mess.... Tbf the mystery/cliffhanger they do pretty well each time. Only the characteristics/traits and actions of the characters are just not that well handled for me. So far it's an 8/10. Each episodes hook you and are addicting that for sure. Actually looking forward how the last 2 eps will go.
Hold up now I've seen the trailer, don't let me down but they might be cooking with this BL series for this year 👀... also fr same director as Secret Relationships whuttt 👀👀👀👀🔥

Tbh chances are slim but who knows in the future 🤷♂️... Honestly I'm just happy this series exists, bcs this is one of the best Bl series I've ever seen & can rewatch
5.5/10. Strong start and interesting premise, but the series loses momentum due to weak editing and an awkward mix between investigation and romance. The acting was decent, but I never felt fully invested in most of the characters. JoongDunk’s chemistry and the OST were the main highlights. Glad it was on Netflix, and I hope this helps bring more BL series to international streaming platforms.
6.5/10. The acting and the ost are great. Dew is a personal standout for me, especially the audtion scene with Gun/AJ. Overall I think the story is flawed and could've been much better. It doesn't help either that the characters are a bit unlikable....
This is like the first time I see a Thai bl or any other bl really for a streaming service like Netflix in my country, hopefully they add more new/existing ones in the Netflix/streaming services library! 🙏
watched the 4 episodes so far, personally I think the premise of the story is interesting as the mystery of whodunit. This is my first time watching a bl series of JoongDunk, and I have to say they have good chemistry. Enjoying so far...also who u guys think the killer is/killers are? 🤔 (no spoilers please, just speculations!)
"Secret Relationships" is actually a perfect bl to (re)watch for Christmas as it has some cozy winter aesthetic and features winter/Christmas settings!! Merry X-mas everyone!! 🎄🎅🎁
