In a recent fan sign event, actor Cha Jung Woo, who played Su Hyeon, wants a spin-off/prequel with Jun Seo and Ho Young about Da On, Su Hyeon & Jae Min and their time together before the events of the main series!

Could we see a potential spin-off/prequel? 👀😮

What's so funny is that the first three episodes are so good and very high rated (8,5-8,9) by many people. But because 2 episodes every week are shown and the latest episode was so bad for the majority of viewers that it dragged the show down. And then everyone suddenly turned their back against this show and just started hating on it.... Technically overall if you look at it, it's still a good show. So people, please keep an open mind. It can still be a great show. A lot of amazing shows have like one-two episodes or more that are less good than the others but overall it can still be phenomenal.

So yeah, I would say try to watch the whole experience first and then judge. I still have hope for this series🤞

After hearing all the drama around this show, I'm gonna say it right now, if this show was made by a popular LGBTQ+ friendly network like Watcha, GagaOOLala or iQiyi, etc., they would've made this truly a BL show where Hui Su and Seung Won would have been the only main leads. Look for example at Semantic Error, Secret Relationships, Love in the Big City, etc. They are a success and popular because they only focus on the main male leads as it should be and they're faithful to the original source material!

I feel bad for the people who love the popular manwha adapted from this show and it's really a shame and disappointment that it's not what everyone hoped for...

Still fingers crossed that it at least gets better with ep 5-10.....

PS: Marketing for this show was really bad....I haven't heard from this show until everyone online was talking about how bad it was

Su Hyeon fans are like bullying Cha Sun Hyung I think and complaining why Jun Seo is not paired with Jung Woo, who plays Su Hyeon , on their next fan meeting... Someone above the comments explained kinda what's going on....I saw the drama also unfolding on X

Hmmm really? So there is drama going on bts... That's actually f*ked up behavior from the fans then... I hope this doesn't affect the relationship between the actors tho 😰

After finally watching this, I can say this is truly one of the best BL's that I've seen. It's the most vibrant BL I've watched so far with such aesthetic. The actors have great chemistry and the OST and production are top notch. This is like the Heartstopper of the BL's. It's a masterpiece.

Can someone explain to me the epilogue? Because after watching the final episode and the whole show overall, this feels like a part 1 to a part 2. It needs more explanation, runtime and longer episodes. In the end we just got only a glimpse of their dating life.

Even tho not impossible, it's highly unlikely. The series did end in a really high, good note
which felt like a closure with Da On and Seong Hyeon saying Saranghae (I love you) to each other. Semantic Error, which comes from the same network, never got a season 2 although people want more since it came out in 2022....so yeah not likely ever to happen. I'm just glad this series exist tbh :)

Ok, here's the thing, although it would be nice and experimental to be it a BL, every adaptation of "Boys over Flowers" has always been straight. I think personally it would be disrepectful to the source material....It's like having your favorite BL series to be remade but just then up straightwashed. That wouldn't be liked by everyone now, would it?

Also I would love to see the actors Kim Jun Seo, Cha Sun Hyung, Cha Jung Woo & Kim Ho Young in different roles, albeit in straight Kdramas or Bl kdramas. I think they do have potential and I would love to see how far their acting range goes.

That would've been a hella plot twist tho, although for a series called "Secret Relationships" I wouldn't be rlly surprised if they did pull that off. But I'm glad the adaptation was kinda faithful and they were all into Da On...

Oh, I actually was just thinking for a straight adaptation, but that's a nice idea too! Honestly, they would be so perfect for those roles!

Actor Cha Sun Hyung, who played Seong Hyeon, revealed his most memorable moment to be the cake with the whipped cream scene with his on-screen boyfriend/husband Da On, played by fellow actor Kim Jun Seo. He was totally red-faced admitting it and seeing the scene 😳🫠

His first ever scene and filming with Jun Seo/Da On was also the photobooth scene. And fun fact: Jun Seo was the one guiding Sun Hyung which poses they do even though it was suppose to be Seong Hyeon guiding Da On ✌ 😅

The actor Jung Woo, who played Su Hyeon, has confirmed that his character Su Hyeon eventually went back to the US because he would've missed Da On too much if he was in Korea. He let Da On go for his happiness and spent his whole life missing Da On 😢😭

Apparently, Jun Seo's (Da On) first scene and first kiss on screen was with Jung Woo (Su Hyeon). Also Jun Seo's memorable moment was with Jung Woo in the library. That explains a lot why they had really good chemistry together. 🤯🤯🤯 All Da On x Su Hyeon shippers are celebrating right now lol T_T
