I haven't and I haven't tried.

If you're only watching for one actor rather than a full story, then definitely skip. This is my favorite role I've ever seen ZLH in and this might be my favorite MMC of all time; ZLH's performance is amazing and I love every one of his scenes. He is hitting this out of the park and I've never been so mesmerized by him before.
That said, the ensemble cast is also EXCELLENT and I've enjoyed the story so much.

But if your focus in on one actor, then yes. You'll be disappointed. Because he's not in every scene (and neither is she).

Haha! He is so patient with her because he loves her so much, but also because he's just that capable. Gotta love a capable man. I feel like Xie Zheng is the most capable Cdrama hero in forever.

The actress is doing an absolutely phenomenal job. She's fantastic. Her fight scenes have been absolute fire.

I love iQIYI's subtitles for most dramas and agree, the Netflix ones are a little wonky.

I'm excited for this one! But I think I'll wait until the whole thing is out. Against my better judgment, I've been watching Pursuit of Jade and waiting for episodes is TORTURE. I forgot how hard it is to wait, I don't think I can watch another ongoing show. This solider is not that strong.
