Why do we need to appreciate the willingness to discuss polyamorous relationships. Are they that important significant. But your right it wasnt dealt with as it was pure attentio seeking it worked.

I might steuggle with the details but i think if I had introduced a story like the FLs relationship with her mother or the completely attention seeking polyamorous sister plot (ooh look at this it has a polyamorous relationship isnt this so cool and edgy) I would have created a better idea for resolution in both cases. Likewise with the cheating ex. I also wouldnt introduce a character whose life resolves around fairness who broke up with her boyfriend because it would be unfair to him, who then covers up for the ultimate unfairness of him cheating and then doesn't stand up for herself when unfairly demoted. Like its amateur hour in a big way.
