Both the weak ass writing that inserts these extreme actions from the FLs especially the cheating, and then treats it as an aside, the resolution being everyone eventually ignores it.
But also and moreover to the audience here who do indeed accept that weak truly unrealistic story line but also treat it as unimportant as its not as bsd as rape. Its as if it has no direct impact on the ability of viewers to take the drama seriously.
