Unfortunately Lovely Runner has fallen foul to a horde of these commenter and their repetitive ridiculous pseudo intellectual word salad reviews. Lovely Runner features a watch that helps you time travel, this is seemingly not as acceptable as the walkman featured in A Time Called You for example. Apparently one is ridiculous one is profound. The biggest strength of Lovely Runner is, that it is pure entertainment. Its a Rom Com in the truest Kdrama sense (as in it comes with a side of murder/melodrama/family crisis/betrayal/hidden identity). In this case a serial killer. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable and amazing. The audience reaction and success was an actual phenomenon. Both stars had their careers boosted by being in it. People love it because its romantic funny touching heart warming lovely and amazing. Unlike the idiots wasting their time criticising it for not being what it was never supposed to be. It is not pretentious and does not take it self seriously. Just like people who aren't pretentious dicks people LOVE IT. DESPITE Review bombing and all of that, despite neither star being an A Lister at the time it blew people away and its still 8.9. Don't be afraid to embrace and love Lovely Runner. Its always the people who try hardest to be cool have the deepest insecurities.
