no he didnt have layers why are you focusing on his excuses first. he wasnt batshit crazy either he waz controlling abusive and an evil scumbag. lots of the characters had trauma. That plot arc ruined the drama with its dark romance type undertones where a woman would accept her partners abuse. Its disgusting to portray women like that
