this drama sums up prevalent attitudes to women. That is that they expect accept and reward being abused insulted and bullied because there role is to be subservient to their man. It also of course justifies cheating and us just all round pathetic and crass. If this was a story about a man with two women and ge picked and cheated with the asshole colleague over the nice rich girl people would hate it.
