Whether I like it, or not, we are all very apprehensive about the outcome of PatPran's going back home. As many others, I would have never suspected myself to become so emotionally attached to fictional characters that, somehow, are more genuine, real, and better fleshed out that some people around us. I am still digesting ep. 11 that looked one way viewed the first time, but appears much more layered and more profound after reading all the useful insights and additional viewings. I still sincerely hope that we won't see their separation happening in any way. I rewatched the episode after work on Friday, and it hit me like a truck. I was walking back home in altered state of mind, meant not in a good way. I'll explain it in the spoiler, but I digress. Anyway, back to the possibile separation... I was thinking about some serious advice I saw given to LGBT teenagers, regardless of their location (Europe, Asia, America), on more than one occasion. Basically, due to family, religious, or cultural upbringing, they weren't sure whether to come out to their families. It was boiling down to fears about their actual personal safety, financial position, and overall wellbeing. The answer would be to assess their situation very carefully and make sure there is somebody to rely on in case of major problems and any emergencies. If there was nobody like that around, the advice was to try to soldier on for the time being, postpone the coming out process, lay foundations to basic emotional and financial independence, and go for it once those basic conditions are met. Now, if I want to put myself in PatPran's shoes... What they witness during the beach escapade, does not make their future look necessarily too rosy, were they to go for it and live their lives somewhere away from their families. I bet it would be a non-issue in the US, Canada, and a handful of other countries. Heck, you are even expected to make your own life once you hit the adulthood. Pat & Pran come from a quite well-off background, but their education is not even finished, no money on their own. In any case, I don't think there are even well-paid entry jobs in THA. Yes, they came out as boyfriends, but families don't approve on the choices of the actual partner. That's one very tough dilemma for young adults like PatPran. Agreeing to postpone their relationship to better times, when they can really claim their independence, while preserving their undying love, as much as it is very painful, would not be unreasonable irl.
They go to the HS reunion separately. This is where they confess to their friends they became boyfriends. Everybody's jaws hit the floor, whereas PatPran tell their story in flashbacks
Another discussion you might want to bring up. The DEEPER SIDE OF THEIR AFTER-SEX SCENE, their ROLES and what…
This! Yes! It is not their first time, but I've got vibes it was Pat's honeymoon gift to Pran, in a way. Btw, I think this is a topic worth of tasteful discussion too. That morning scene, Pran's hand caressing Pat's arm, this loving stare... So tender! Again, not much is said, beyond the 1-10 jest, but we sorta know everything. Btw, it seems ep. 11 is showing Pat giving all to Pran. It is Pat who suggests (jokingly?!) they have a job offer from the locals. In the end, Pat's accompanying Pran back to BKK, sensing he's missing his family.
Ep. 11 YT viewers are no slackers… Reaching almost 12K comments in twelve hours (subtract a few irrelevant ones complaining about lack of Eng. subs or discussing PanPrat’s, ahem, position/s)
Your home & family should be your safe haven. Seeing Pat sobbing “Let’s go home” at the gate hurts much. What a contrast to a more optimistic ep. 10 4/4 “Let’s get away from here.”
Another of my sleep deprivation & delirium-induced observations… If I compare this epi. to any other major Thai BL series, several differences come to my conflicted mind: • if I didn’t know BBS has twelve episodes, the 11th one feels like a logical and organic conclusion to PatPran’s arc, parents be damned • plenty of kissing prior to today anyway, which would otherwise happen in the last three minutes of the last episode in other series • the “cursed” episode was 10th, if you could even say that, rather than 11th, • we have witnessed their moment of intimacy, which would be expected in S2 (like in IPUtM), if ever; well it happened in S1 of UWMA, but they ran more epis • therefore, ep. 12 has a look of a special episode…! One element of the last scene at the gate left me baffled, though, but I’ll put my question in the spoiler for consideration.
I watched the preview again and as someone pointed out already, the school reunion might be for the school they…
Yes, Indeed! I saw It mentioned somewhere too! That's why their HS friends have absolutely no idea PatPran got together, and are enemies no more, obviously!

Sorry for my verbosity...
