Don't talk about a life without bad buddy after 2 weeks đI don't even want to imagine that hell now đ
Personally, as MUCH as it pains me to say, I expect their arc will have run its course with the end of ep. 12 organically, with a VERY happy end for PratPan in the store, of the happily ever after variety, no drama whatsoever... P'Aof has crafted an uplifting story. I don't know what would be a credible and logical storyline to warrant another twelve episodes. I'd rather love to see them in something different together, even if not gay-themed anymore. It could be a crime drama, akin to Manner of Death, for example. OhnNanon have their acting future secured, I am more than persuaded. Their brillance in BBS has become their calling card
I read some comments where people think PatPran might break up the next EP. Personally, I think the next EP will…
This! Yeah, my wild guess is for a trip to get away from the s**tfest, chillax, regroup and TLC, just two of them... We are repeating rooftop-beach loop, albeit in totally different circumstances. I'd compare the first one to testing the waters and laying foundations for their blossoming relationship, still in deep hiding. The upcoming one is to solidify what they have now, especially when the cat is totally out of the bag (pun intended). We may see some parallels with the first beach scene. Meanwhile, families might be assessing the fallout whole their sons are away.. hopefully coming to their senses...
About the MDL rankings from FAQS, but none the wiser: ...Dramas and Movies are ranked using a complex algorithm that takes into account several things including how many people added the drama to their list, what they rated it, # of comments, recommendations, reviews and a lot more... However, volume of comments is one of the important metrics too, then!
On a lighter note: Pran's name is Parakul, which sounds like "paraculo" in Italian. It is a derogatory term for a smartass, an obnoxious self-assured opportunist, which is something totally opposite to Pran's persona. It was also, hear, hear, a synonim for a man attracted sexually to other men... however, its usage was rather uncommon and is not in circulation in this context anymore. Btw, Dissaya is half-Italian IRL.
A few people aren't going to spoil my enjoyment of watching BB. Go watch your series with full of drama, toxicity,…
If, after ten episodes, people have a beef just about Ming's inconsistent haircuts (a valid one) or fist bumps (I found them hilarious tbh), and a few other minor things, then, if I were p'Aof, I'd sleep very soundly
Can we talk about how great Pran's mother's acting is?? She killed that last scene in ep 10 when she was talking…
I guess the whole scene is more impactful since she is venting her anger out without other characters interrupting her lines much. Even Pat's mum is not trying to stop her. She's even looking somewhat embarrassed hearing the revelation. She doesn't scream at her to get out. It would have been too melodramatic to p'Aof's taste. I've noticed that Pat's mum must be feeling torn. She moves closer to her husband, then towards Pat. She tries to justify Ming's past behaviour to Pat, but I sense she must be feeling very sad for her son at that moment. Her last look is that of dejection. It's an ensemble piece where no element is random or superfluous
When Patâs dad pushed Pran to the ground at 1:00 (4/4), the fall seemed very hard, and Ohm turned to help Nanon right away, looking very concerned for real, and not just out of acting. It is just in a blink. Then, there is a cut and another take from the side.
The part when Pran says that he is not like other kids because of the way his mum raised him. How do you guys…
Yup! Pranâs was growing up emotionally wounded. He has learned his lesson on keeping his emotions in check & hidden since that Christmas concert, or maybe even much earlier. He has restored to visual clues, like stickers, door hangers or a lamp, just to be able to remember what state of mind was he supposed to be in. However, this todayâs episode is his watershed cathartic moment. I think a new Pran is being born on this very day. Whether was it a snap or a sudden burst of courage, he faced his demon, i.e. mother, Pat is his rock once again, and there is no looking back for him anymore.
PâAofâs attention to detail is astounding. When Pran enters home at 4:30 (10 4/4) and sees his mother in, he hesitates a little and leaves the guitar outside the doorâŠ
Another recycled thought, that I eagerly subscribe to: young ones are mature (Pat, Pran, Ink), or maturing fast enough (Korn, WaiâŠ), whereas the opinion on the adults (parents, basically) is still pending. I am sucker for the stories where children, regardless of their age, are able to challenge their parents. Parents, who were always put on the pedestal in the past, without any questions asked. In the end, even if many parents think their actions are in the best interest of their offspring, those parents may be full of flaws themselves. Their failed dreams, disappointments, harsh upbringing, unreasonable expectations, are projected to their children, creating unhappiness in the whole family unit. It is truly distressing what Pat & Pran had to go through in 4/4, but it seems their outcome will fulfill the old saying âOut of life's school of war - what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.â Love conquers all!
In those 2:20 that we accompany PatPran on the rooftop, we hear just two one-liners spoken, with barely five words for each, and thatâs towards the end of the scene. Did we need to hear anything more? Perhaps in a less capable pair of hands, a director would have restored to some verbosity, whereas pâAof is stingy to the extreme, in a good way. He simply lets OhmNanon narrate the story and unveil their feelings through their gestures and glances, accompanied by the appropriate camera shots and bgm. Heâs even more restrained that in ep. 5. Once again, both of the rooftop scenes arenât random, but the finishing lines to the journeys we have been made privy in both of the respective 4/4 parts. I am going to steal a thought from a YT comment, but we are not simple viewers, but it feels we are almost intruding as bystanders who have found ourselves close by as witnesses be it in a friendsâ quarrel or in family secrets bursting in the open like a painful pierced boil. I think it would not be possible, if it weren't for OhmNanonAof in action...
There's a communal emotional meltdown in the YT 4/4 comments' section, at 3.2K and counting. Dare I say it hit viewers as much as ep. 5. No trolling whatsoever. Oscars and Emmys are thrown at OhmNanon at every corner. I like also Pran's mum and Pat's dad are being discussed in depth.
I want to smile and cry at the same time! :(: But also why did Pats dad look so different in the shopping centre…
You are absolutely correct. It is not the only time. There are quite a few continuity issues with his hairdo like in the bus stop and the house gate confrontation episode
Somebody said that the best thing to do when winning real big bucks in a lottery is to go away and disappear from your family, firends, and work to clear head for a fortnight. It looks like PatPran's on something similar in ep. 11. 10 4/4 has so many things to unpack... It also confirmed my stance we better wait to judge any of the characters in full until the very end of BB. Bravo again!
