I am still shaking from 10 4/4... P'Aof is letting us be all lovey-dovey, then the emotional punch comes from nowhere. The change of pace was noticeable. I cannot put a finger on it, but the feeling of this particular part is totally unique from all the episodes so far. The tables have turned. The meek became lions. Doesn't hit it differently, where children confront parents openly, especially in the Asian culture?

Nanon's shirt is 招财进宝, its auspicious wordings, something like let the fortunes come in!https://www.omgchinese.com/dictionary/chinese/%E6%8B%9B%E8%B4%A2%E8%BF%9B%E5%AE%9D
I see!👍Perhaps for the upcoming Lunar New Year

Ohm's t-shirts have their own universe! The Virtual Hangout one says Painkiller. I cannot 😄 What did it say in Chinese on Nanon's hoodie? That interview was totally sweet and kudos for their English skills, being articulate and handling a live feed with just a small help form the interpreter. I cannot help but seeing PanPrat's personalities shining through them! We better get ready for ep. 10, full of emotions, apparently!

1 - Pran & 2 - Wai... Wtf...?!
Btw, I am really curious as to how p'Aof would evolve Wai & Pran's friendship in the remaining three episodes. I think I should bet on a happy ending for them and everybody else. I don't forecast any bitter crumbs to be left over, once the ep. 12 is over.

It could turn out to be either the best of both, or the worst of both...

Not really LOL. Maybe I am closer to Pran's persona in real life, but perhaps my dark desire, buried deep inside me, is to be like Wai...?!

You are so lucky, it's still Thursday afternoon here in our time zone.
Canadian West Coast is worse... In bed at 2:30am, wake up for BB ep. before 6 am, then back to sleep, then wake-up call at 10:15am for work. Would I miss it live...? Hell NOOOO!

Same problem... Starting watching young royals, watched Spider man, far from home and now heading toward a Japanese…
If you don’t have patience to watch all the YR episodes, there is Wilhelm and Simon’s arc edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4sqQHuE350

If you wanna focus on Mark and Ou-wen's story only, you'll find the edited summary of their storyline by the tv production company on YT, and then expanded third-party edits. Lotsa chemistry, fun, and a very progressive happy end!

I don't despair, actually 😁 I am rather thankful we can have immedite access to subs, more often than not done by volunteers in less "obvious" languages, like it happens on Viki. There was this recent Taiwanese drama called Love is Science? that
at some point, I guess due to a sudden international fandom, expanded a side BL couple storyline. If it weren't for volunteers, we wouldn't be able to enjoy their storyline. Go and check them! Their chemistry was better than a lead het couple!

I saw a post about that Pat's veggie burn, but sometimes it is simply impossible to translate a visual slur or cultural concept in one world, or two. Also, that ep. 6 relationship mistranslation has been repeated in French sub too. Go figure...

For those who are effortlessly bi-, or even multilingual, have you tried to watch key scenes with various sets of subtitles, out of curiosity? Did you feel them differently? For example, I made this exercise with ep. 5 4/4. I've preferred French subtitles somewhat over the English ones and my third language, especially with some crucial lines. Unfortunately, I don't know Thai, so it was difficult to make comparison with the source. However, I had a nice exchange with the French subtitler/s. Correct me, if I am wrong, but Thai doesn't have "to hate" and "to prefer" , using "to not like", or "to like a lot" instead. In the rooftop (no-way-to-move-from place) line about Pran's song at the contest, Pat's first expression is "I don't like..." in Eng sub, but "I hate it..." in French that is a deeper feeling. Also, the confrontation scene lines in French subs sounded more salatious to my ear 😉 Fun stuff!

It brings to my mind Bill Clinton and his infamous statement that he "did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky." 🤣

just wanted to ride on your post to mention that the cast for the parents are really good?very natural and expressive/detailed…
All four of them seem to be seasoned actors with many, mostly supporting, roles on their resumes. Btw, Ple Paradee Yoopasuk, in Pran’s mom role, is half-Italian in real life! The other half-Thai from BB that comes to my mind is Drake.

Another very intelligent approach that I found in BB is how p’Aof made side/supporting characters that aren’t transparent as to their personalities right from the bat, namely Ink, Korn, Wai, and both set of parents. I think many of us have walked in his trap, making a summary judgment about one person, or another… I think it pays to wait for the whole story arc to complete, before we really understand one’s behaviour and motivations, and whether there is any redemption at the end, if needed or warranted… Also, the next episode previews aren’t helpful LOL. I lost count of many curveballs I’ve been served since... Ink has been perhaps the first one to be made transparent to us, then maybe Korn, but he’s not complete yet. Wai is still a mystery in many aspects. Now, for the parents… I definitely hold my breath… The family atmosphere is getting noticeably thicker, and you can cut it with a knife… I sorta know what to expect, but maybe I should not be so sure…
