Congrats to OhmNanon for selling out their evening fanmeet in Taipei on Dec. 18th like in a few seconds! Edit: they have added up a matinée show the same day!
This sweet bickering and kisses between Eiw and Cake in the first part were sooo bloody natural, it made me mightily confused whether it was acting for the scene or, rather, we've got a glimpse of real SantaEarth on a day off...
I'm just wondering, what year is this show supposed to take place as far as Em's freshman year in college? As…
It seem from other gadgets (Nokia cells?) they became freshmen sometime at the beginning of the last decade. On the other hand, t-shirts are slightly inconsistent. Champs was wearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles one surely from the Nineties, whereas Nak-nan had NASA logo on, which in a much more recent trend.
I think i missed something. Was it ever explained why Name didn’t go to university? If so, what was the reason…
I think he's a year younger than the rest of the uni-going bunch to begin with. Second, there must have been some trauma in Name's past that provoked his selective mutism, which we know nothing about yet, and it's surely detrimental to his educational development at that stage of his life. Btw, I cannot recall any other BL character with those challenges ever brought to the screen in any Thai series before. I am really vested in his storyline!
Cake's English confession makes total sense, in a way it doesn't look like director's cheap gimmick at all. Having gone through American HS, I could only imagine he had felt more comfortable expressing himself in English, rather than in Thai, in that very particular moment. On top of it, this frikkin' Santa will be barely nineteen exactly in a week, and he delivers that???!!! Give him a raise!!!
This final episode was so good. Two little scenes that stand out for me is the moment when, at the dinner table with Akk’s parents, Aye waits with trepidation to hear Akk’s confirmation that they are, indeed, boyfriends. Khao’s eyes convey so well that moment of little panic, suspense, and apprehension that dissipate at Akk’s confirmation. Second, the absolutely tender loving looks they are giving each other in bed. You feel that burdens they may have had in their lives are slowly melting away. It definitely helps FirstKhao are very good friends and must have felt very comfortable acting this scene. Also, the sleeveless t-shirt on First is the cherry on top! BRAVO to everybody involved.
Asian Television Awards (http://www.asiantelevisionawards.net/nominees/day-1/) has unveiled nominees and that includes Best Theme song nomination for Nanon Korapat's Bad Buddy OST! The results will be announced in early December.
Lucky Taiwanese!!! GMMTV has just announced the first OhmNanon fanmeet in Taipei on December 18th, which is coincidentally Nanon's b-day! Tickets go on sale at noon of Nov. 6th local time. Ticketing company's servers may crash...🤣
I think he's a year younger or maybe because of his selective mutism won't be going to uni as he was homeschooled.…
I still hafta catch up with most of the VV episodes. I think the most recent product placement push I saw was about the fried chicken in one of the early episodes. So, I am quite behind with the others. To be honest, if you are in Thailand, the last thing one should crave for should be a fast food chicken... Also, I recommend to check Perth Nakhun's YT video on Thai foods, where he also talks about pink milk. I decided to give it a pass after his review...
When Eiw is on stage and he sees empty seats where Cake is supposed to be in the front row, those few of his lines from the play sound like expression of his real inner feelings about Cake... He wasn't performing, he was himself talking... I really liked this bref moment.
- Well, he (Em) promised.
....
- He made a promise, he made a promise to me, he promised.
He promised, he promised!
Edit: they have added up a matinée show the same day!
