We are almost halfway thru this serie, and so far no romantic interaction between Haishi and Emperor, I can't see how they will fall in love. on the other hand we see Haishi and FJM relationship progresses almost at top speed (teaser ep 21 -22)
I really hope for their happy ending.
As for Emperor, he must completed self-reconciliation before he engages in any romantic relationship. Poor Tilan always looks intimidated by him. None deserve to be treated with no respect.

Check "empresess of the palace" they really use an Old actor as the emperor and young Sun Li as consort, for me thats too realistic and I cant completely enjoy .

I agree with the pace is rather slow, but I personally enjoy it. For some fast pacing drama I have to rewatch the beginning to understNd better. It shows their daily interactions and its cute imo. It seems escalade once Haishi left for war.
I like to chase new drama daily so I will follow it religiously.

Uughh maybe somehow the spell can be undone?? Lets see if the mermaid power Haishi got will have something to do with that. Or else FangZhu's life will forever depends on emperor.

I agree that is sad for emperor where he wants to die but he just couldnt! But in the other hand, since he knows he cant just die like that, he should pick himself up and rule as emperor. Not moping around😩. Its easy to die but to survive needs a lot effort, if he really dies after killing his friend, then who will take over his throne. I really want to see his character development in next episodes

I think you are right. Now I can feel his warmth lolll. Btw I like most ML like Yuwen Yue, Ye Hua, Mo Yuan, and who else, who is quite and only speaks when he needs to and do not joke around llol. And oh Mei Chang Su ofc my#1fave ML till now lol
