I personally really like William Chan! I like his demeanor, shifu's character is quite&cold, the actor did a great job potraying shifu, can feel his yearning and desperation, how he restricts himself. On the other hand, they seem to tune down the Emperor's barbaric behaviour and try to make him lovable. But its too late for me, still for me, emperor is someone who throws sh*t to ppl around him whenever he feels like sh*t, and oh Im feeling better today so I will treat you better, I wont grab your chin nor push you to ground, nor bully today. 🤷🏽♀️ he may have a good heart but the way he treats his consort with no Respect made me upset llolll
Sure! Haishi gave him two candles (with marriage symbol on it) Shifu asked : are they your presents for me? She said yes for you to help you work at night. Then shifu stood closer to her and said : "do you know this isnt how the red candles should be used?" AND IM DYINGGG HERE

But seems later into episodes his character starts to develop. Nevertheless I'd disappointed if Haishi ends up with emperor. Im so attached with Shifu at this point 😩

Haishi gave so much signals and clue and he didnt even budge, I was hoping for a slow burn romance between them but What maybe I'll get is slow burn romance between emperor and Haishi. But I wish emperor would end up with Tilan, she is the most misrable character here imo and emperor is second.

Im with you Val😁 btw maybe it started a bit off this teacher-student relationship but later on teaser, Haishi says to ZhouYing : "he is our teacher but he is only a few years older than us". So to me no problem at all and he looks good and not grows old

Wow haters gonna hate anyway, I see the rating went down from 9.7 to 9.2 I like Yang Mi, my first cdrama I watched recently was Fuyao and then I started TMOPB. Im an old soul I watched cdrama at my young age (Ruby Lyn, ZZY, Vicky Zhao) So haters, Instead of wasting your time here, pls pack your bag and leave and find something that pleases you ✌
