People complain about cheating and yet they are watching. There's a reason this genre is so popular so in a capitalist…
I know you've been here for a while....do you remember that weird guy that would comment underneath every drama with a cheating plotline? And he would write these long rants about how much he hates cheaters and women lol
Okay so umm...regardless of how horrible a person is, killing them outside of the context of self defense is still murder. This guy committed pre-meditated murder, then decides to sleep with the victim's sister...alright. I know the term is overused on the internet but that's pretty much a trauma bond. And honestly who thinks, "Yes, I do find the guy who killed my long lost brother hot!" Like....WHAT
It was okay. It was basically BL fluff. Also, the group Sato Arata is a part of (Impactors) will be all be leaving their agency, Johnny's. So you probably won't be seeing a lot of him anymore.
I hope companies stop casting good looking actors but with mediocre acting skills. Seriously.I don't know if J-BLs…
A lot of Japanese BLs recently have been featuring idols from Johnny's and EXILE so maybe that's why the acting is not so great. There are some great actors form Johnny's and EXILE but these are not it.
These characters spend half the episodes talking to themselves. I understand we are to suspend disbelief because it's a drama but there's a limit to that lol.
Is this one of those shows that's so bad it's good or it is just bad? I watched episode zero and was entertained enough but all the comments make it seem like this show is not worth watching at all lol.
It was okay…I have watched a lot of Japanese dramas so some of the plot points were super overdone. For example: the former crush from high school, the FL liking the ML but dating someone else, the FL seeing the ML with another woman and automatically assuming the worst, second male lead conveniently coming in to save the day, and of course the good old “late twenties-early thirties woman who is a virgin or has no romantic experience.” And why was half an episode of an already short drama spent on flashbacks? Anyway it was meh. Not terrible but not great.
Okay what we're not about to do is police how other people express their opinions about a drama. If they dislike it or have criticisms about it, they are well within their right to include those criticisms in their comments. If you don't like it, keep scrolling! Or go somewhere else where everyone else has nothing but glowing reviews.
This drama is more of a workplace drama than a romance drama. There is romance but it takes more of a backseat to the plot about the otome game company. A lot of Japanese dramas tend to be like this; they focus more on the subject matter and the development of the characters than the romance, which I think is good. Also the set design here is fantastic. I want to work at an office like that! I like the sloth hanging from the ceiling and the panda on the table leg lol. If I worked at that office, going to work would be something to look forward too.
Also, while I don't mind Izumi and Wataru as love interests, she seems more like a mother to him. Idk I just think that's a weird basis for potential romance...she even said she's raising him. I think they would be better off as like mentor and student than a couple.
I'm a little confused. So the grandfather enters two boys into an engagement? He just assumed they would grow up to be gay?? What if both of them or one of them ended up straight...obviously it's a BL so they're both probably gay but the concept makes no sense.
Wow the FL looks so young, unbelivable , like me ;) i want a young guy as well !lol😉 Could someone tell me…
Wow if you've never see her before then you must not watch Japanese dramas at all or know about Japanese entertainment. She's a very popular actress whose had a 20+ year career.
I understand your disapointment towards this adaption, from reading the manga I kind of wanted to see a more romantic…
Then I would question why a director would choose to do a work they are not comfortable with. I know this answer is money lol but it would be nice to have a director that is familiar and comfortable with the genre...
I watched the episode, and it seems that they're not even going to pretend to be dating? They totally ripped us off with this adaption. Unless the "pretending to be dating" story line will come in later episodes, which is looking doubtful because Kunishita first pretended to be gay to seduce Hanabusa in the manga...so wtf? And a bunch of other stuff was added in the drama that wasn't even in the manga...disappointed so far. This doesn't even look to be bromance, it looks my like an "odd pairing" or buddy cop type of show...it's a shame they didn't stick to the original story. I guess we could hope for an anime adaption in the future that's more accurate.
