Title Kei×Yaku: Abunai Aibou Spoiler
Alright watched the first episode...it doesn't seem like they'll even pretend like they're dating? What?? I feel ripped off. Unless they plan on pursuing that storyline in later episodes, not much too hope for in terms of BL, folks.

That's shocking that you've never encountered men with long hair in real life...I've encountered many. I too have an obsession with long haired men but mine stemmed from long haired male musicians. My number 1 preference is men with long hair.

Judging from the trailers, clips etc.. they'll most likely stick with bromance and the bl-bait scenes (isn't ichiro…
Yeah Ichiro is straight...but we know in BL a lot of the guys start off as "straight" lol

Title Kei×Yaku: Abunai Aibou Spoiler
You know even from reading the first volume, I still would say the manga at least classifies as BL. Why? Because it does feature one gay character, and there are references to BL (Kunishita watches BL and gay porn to learn how to seduce Hanabusa lol). Also, in A LOT of BLs, the story starts off with one guy who is gay gay gay but the other guy is "straight" or insists that he is straight. Or, both guys start off as "straight" then fall for each other. Also the story is still ongoing with the manga so we don't know if actual romance will develop. So I would say that it falls under BL, personally. But this comment only refers to the manga. The drama may not take it in the BL direction.
On 49 Days with a Merman Jan 5, 2022
Has it been confirmed that this is not BL though? It already looks like a lot of liberties were taken from the source material. For example in the original there's all sorts of creatures like an octopus man, and a hermit crab man. Also the original merman is blond and has long hair, and the main guy is kind of an "emo" guy (for lack of a better term lol). For all we know they might twist the plot into BL territory.

Minor? Minato finished college already
The actors are 23 and 29 so it's not really that big of a difference....

Is there someone who speaks Japanese that could tell me why Aoki seems to add an 'sh' sound to the end of words…
"shi" is added at the end of words to show emphasis. Like "Wakaranai shi" is like "I really don't know." "Shi" is also used when listing things off in sentence. For example: "Sonna koto wakaranai shi, shiritakunai shi" would be "I don't know about that and don't want to know." In masculine speech, the "a" sound is elongated to a "ee" sound. Like with "chigau," in masculine colloquial speech, it changes to "chigee." "Wakaranai" becomes "wakanee", "itai" becomes "itee" and so forth. It also adds more harshness to the word. This is very informal speech usually only used within friends that are in the same age group. If a younger man were to say those type of words to an older authority figure, it would be rude. I guess the similar English equivalent would be saying "iunno" instead of "I don't know" except in English, it's not really a problem with rudeness, it's just a colloquial way of shortening a word.

Okay, I see good reviews...for someone who can't stand body switching, like AT ALL, would this be worth watching?…
Also since it's a man and woman switching, is there a scene when he becomes fascinated by the boobs? If there is...ugh.

Also with the sticky rice pudding guy, was he super saiyan or something?? lol That felt a bit out of place because there was no other supernatural elements in the show but then there's this guy who invincible...

I randomly came across this drama on the Tubi app (which has a lot of HK dramas for free). I first thought to just watch one episode, because I usually am not drawn to a lot of violence in my dramas. Well one episode turned to like four, and so forth lol. Funnily enough, I didn't really even like the romance here. It was just a bit cheesy and I fast forward to the sappy parts. When the romance scenes were happening I was like, where is the action! I did enjoy this drama quite a bit. Also it taught me a bit of history because I had no idea that such a city really existed. I also think it was interesting to see a place that had no police, official government or laws and how the citizens dealt with crime and other unsavory activities. Overall I liked it a lot. It had great set design, great fight choreography and good acting. But honestly the romance was just a little too sappy.

I don't like how Papa Cho and Mama Hor got back together in the end. Papa Cho is super trash. I think he should have just divorced and then they co-parent. Cho did not have to have an affair and cheat on his wife, especially knowing that he has six kids. And even more, he let his mistress manipulate him to have his side of the family hate his ex-wife, and even pit his children against each other. I understand he did all of the crying and regretting, but his actions are pretty inexcusable. If it weren't for him, the family would not have gotten into the whole mess. Also I kind of wish they have Mama Hor a new love interest because it would have been funny to see Cho get jealous lol.

To be fair, being PC wasn't a thing in the 1980s/1990s, or even early 2000s.
It was, but just in a different way. It's hilarious that people think this lol. People seem to forget that it was common for albums, books and movies to get banned for being too explicit.

Looks interesting! I would have liked to see, somewhere near the top, the information that this is a Japanese…
Asa = morning and dora is short for dorama (drama). Asadora is a drama that airs 15 minute episodes each morning. They have hundreds of episodes but they are meant to be watched in small increments daily.

One of the worst male leads ever. He was given no background story, no goal other than to get his dick hard and write a novel, and he was just plain uninteresting. They did nothing with the character. How the hell does the second male lead get more development than the first? It was just weird how he was given no back story or any explanation behind his persona, at all. That leaves a major gap in the story.
