THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL! PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL! It's not fair that we only see Doronjo on her full gorgeous costome on the post credits scene.
I'm impressed, didn't expected that dumb little Doremi would have the smarts to think that plan. She got the biggest victory a "villain" can have against a "hero", the moral victory. And thinking about that, I see paralls with The Batman, and Doronjo is much better than that movie because it doesn't shat on the end with copaganda.
Another movie about "japanese law sucks!". I shouldn't be surprised by the performances saying that "it was better than I expected" because non-actors giving excellent performances in movies is nothing new. Maybe the story being based on the cast helped, so I wish I could see them acting again, specially Lina.
#9 Foi episode one is should be obvious, with this series having a little body horror and all. But now after having looked what the directors and scriptwriters have in their curriculum (specially Naito Eisuke) it should be more obvious what tone they were going for this. Doronjo is a series that can put besides "Yoru no Yatterman" anime. If you don't know that one was Dark.
Anyway, it keeps getting more interesting. I'll not say that it's all going as I had theorized, but still, close enough. Every criminal is a person with a history, not all criminals deserve "punishment", they deserve rehabilitation and care. Aika unleashed a dangerous thing on the streets and now we're seeing the results.
Isn't more interesting when the blood start spiling and it's all coming from the "villains" body in the name of justice?
With episode 7 & 8 it's really giving more yatterman vibes even if in a modern and sightly more realistic way.…
But they're combating crime in a bit different way than the police, just a bit. And of course, all heroes are vigilantes.
Anyway, by episode 8 I'm a little impressed by this series. The script is actually quite decent with a good dose of nice parallels. Did you noticed who Aika and Doremi threat victims of abuse and familial abandon differently? Aika just sees something defenseless to be protected while Doremi sees strength and lessons to learn.
Also, for for the first time Aika acted not from the desire to protect the victim, she acted with the desire to punish the criminal. I imagine that this "hate" will finally be the emotion and she was lacking in her life and gives her life a reason. But this will break her "!friendship" with Doremi for good, because at the same time Doremi is accepting walking a path of crime and she is doing this with personal justifications to not feel bad. The crimes she will commit is just a way to defend herself and be able to live in the world, but Aika will not be able to accept that and new found flame will force her to "punish" Doremi for succumbing to the "wrong path".
Episode 7 has a little detail that made me intrigued. Will Doremi become an idol to little evil doers? This is super interesting! There are probably a lot of people out there that instead of peace and love and justice (like the "Heroes" are proposing) really wish to put out all the hate they have accumulated inside.
Forgot the release schedule on the official website. Episodes 7 and 8 are already available. If it's like this they could just release everything at once already.
EP6: I watch this hoping to see Doremi having a happy ending, she is so innocent. But exactly because of this innocence that everything will end very badly for her. Now she starts walking a path of no return. SAD!
I looked at the official site. What crazy schedule! Looks like they will air episode 4 and 5 on 4th November, than they will re-air episodes 1 to 5 on 6th November, and then they'll resume normal schedule airing episode 6 starting 11th November.
I think they are doing this to create some hype and gather attention before releasing it for real.
The end may make or brake the movie for you.
A little IMO in the spoiler bellow.

The movie being streamed here appears to be a "director's cut". It's a bit longer in the end.
Is she playing a male role here?
No one have or knows how to get this anymore?
