Yeah that's why I mentioned in the first sentence of my reply that I agree with the above user's opinion. I was just telling how it didn't really affect Shin's decisions because in the end, Saint had to earn his forgiveness.

Yeah I do get that it was subtle but Sankaew's expressions have been so limited in even those subtly romantic scenes that he looked borderline disinterested in Sasin. As if he only saw him as a partner in crime and a brother. The tension was kinda there sure, chemistry was fine too but Peak's acting during the beach scene lacked so much depth. Didn't he look like he wanted to run away? Like I get that they wanted to show that he was hesitant but gave in bc Sasin was irresistible but instead it looked like he was being forced into kissing and hugging Sasin lol I tend to pay attention when it comes to emotionally charged scenes. It lacked intensity and looked awkward to me. Still better than some bl actors that can't act to save their lives, though.

I'm about to finish the 7th ep. The love confession here felt a little abrupt to me. All this while we kinda saw Sasin falling in love but never got to see Sankaew's pov other than their usual interaction. When did he fall for Sasin? How did he start developing feelings? Was he thinking about him when he wasn't around? Like, where are the details? Only Sasin's pov wasn't enough for me. It could've been more romantic but maybe this is the regular Thai lakorn style I don't know much about. More dramatic and less romantic. Their moments were sweet but it felt kinda abrupt how the "I love you" came out of nowhere. I couldn't feel the intensity and the yearning in it. Sasin still tried but Saenkaew? He looked like he just didn't wanna be there. It looked forced idk maybe I was expecting more depth. Not to mention, they slept together right after 😭 kinda weird idk.
Peak as Saenkaew did kinda okay throughout but the romantic scenes on the beach didn't look authentic. He looked uptight. I do like their chemistry though.

Aw I love them with Polcasan too. It's sooo wholesome. As for me, TayNew are actually my first and most fav bl couple. I discovered them way back in 2018 through Kiss Me Again. And I'm still here rooting for them because they just have that pull. So natural, chaotic and charming. They're comparatively older(mainly because other ships are basically babies tbh lol) and OGs of gmmtv but still have almost equal amount of craze because they have a genuinely loyal fanbase. So glad that they're still attracting new fans like you :)) I myself couldn't get attached to any ship other than them for all these years because I'm a sucker for good acting plus effortless chemistry. Really liked OhmNanon but they're done for good. Recently got smitten by SkyNani and WilliamEst. But TayNew will still be closest to my heart.

And yes a family/parents trope will be so sweet to watch. TayNew will nail it!! I have no hopes in 2026 for them either. But we have ADAAP to look forward to. The filming, the moments, the anticipation for next episodes, the discussions, it's going to be so fun!!

Me too it's so hard to wait right? I want to see them in a serious show with forbidden romance or some crime related/gang related angsty stuff with lots of sexual tension and attraction that's too hard to avoid. Honestly with each passing year I keep getting more anxious about them getting bls together because there are so many younger ships with high demand it's hard for gmmtv to make everyone's fans happy. I want TayNew to do a lot more bls together honestly no matter the genre I can watch them forever I love them so much!

I don't think they'd cast the same actors if they do so. Most of the money on this season was spent by Eric's company, the actor who plays Sheng Wang. And their demand was to cast him as one of the leads. If some other company buys the rights, they will cast entirely new actors and film it from scratch. Infact, who ever owns the rights, was already asking for crowd funding so that they can cast new actors in the next season. So the chances of getting the same cast are minimal.

The rights of the novel are bought by the company that made the 1st season. No one can make it other than them.

I watched it only for JimmySea's chemistry. They did whatever they were told to do with 100% sincerity. The chemistry was on point. It was the plot that had nothing new to offer. Quite bland actually and I watched most of it at 1.5x sometimes even 2x except ThapIn's flirtatous and couple moments. I liked the fluff tbh it was natural and cozy but that could also be because I've been craving to watch something comforting otherwise I lack the patience to sit through draggy shows. It did try to dive into some trauma related topics but quickly moved past it. It's something you can watch while eating or in bed without using much brains. It wasn't great but it wasn't too bad either. 4/10 for the plot but 10/10 for chemistry.

Some people saw a document named sks in someone's story. I think it was P'Dome's?? Or maybe some other director from gmmtv i'm not sure but maybe they're already planning something. It's not entirely just a baseless manifestion hehe. If it's high investment then trust SkyNani to make it worth it. But yes I'm gonna keep my expectations in check cuz i just don't see SkyNani stepping into bl yet when they're already doing so well and enjoying the hype without it. Doing a bl brings a lot of pressure to perfom fan service which can get toxic. They don't seem like people who want to handle such responsibilities right now.

I still think about them. I miss them. This show is so beautiful it didn't deserve such a fate.

I agree with everything you said but Shin did whatever they said only to stop Saint from quitting school. Idk if you've finished watching the whole series yet but after Saint agrees to stay at school, Shin says he'll still treat Saint as just a classmate, not a friend to which Saint replies that he'll be whatever Shin wants him to be.

After that Shin's mother sees them together and tells Saint to get out of her son's life and Saint complies. That's when Shin feels hurt again as Saint was giving up so easily yet again and they finally talk it out. Shin tells him that him giving up on their friendship and then disappearing hurt him more than Saint breaking his leg. Saint did everything to earn Shin's forgiveness. And after making up he even took the beating from Jeng to protect his bestie. Shin forgave him gradually bit by bit because Saint stayed consistent. He totally earned it and stayed loyal after being forgiven.

You should definitely watch The Untamed. The novel that it's based on is gay as hell but since it's chinese, they had to censor the live action version and turn the romance into bromance. Still a masterpiece though.

I really liked the romance part of this series, ThamePo scenes were superrr cute!! Made me all giddy and shit. As someone who eats slow burn up this really delivered. But tbh I think a much more interesting script will do wonders for them because the chemistry is too good to be wasted on boy band chaos. They wasted a lotttt of screentime on the dragged out MARS drama instead of building up ThamePo's relationship further. And all that stuff with Jun was totally unnecessary. Jun was subotaging bothh of them despite knowing Thame-Po liked each other and then had the audacity to gaslight Thame by telling he wasn't treating Po right when he was the one meddling everytime they were trying to talk or spend time together.

The boyband part in the 1st half was kinda interesting but the 2nd half was plain boring. I know this show wasn't just about WilliamEst it was a way to promote LYKN too but I really hope gmmtv uses WilliamEst's potential as a couple in the right way next time. I really want to see a lot more of them on my screen. They need another slow burn romance with tension and build up and soft glances gmmtv are you listening!!

Rumour has it that there's a possible project for SkyNani in gmmtv 2026 line up and people are guessing it's a bl that would be adapted from a Thai novel called Sin Klin Sok. As much as I'm dying to see these two in a full fledged love story, I'm still not going to get my hopes high as a way to protect my weak heart. Honestly, these two look so good together that I can even watch many more "bromance" shows with them. They said they're open to working with each other multiple times 🥰

But keeping the skepticism aside, all the teasing suggests there IS a chance of them getting a bl next year. So let's just keep our fingers crossed. If nothing, atleast we still have Wu. Pretty excited for this one. And if they do end up getting a super gay love story, the world is gonna explode cuz boy the chemistry is going to be insaneee

The script wasn't ready up until recently I guess. They've finally read the script so they'll start the production soon it seems.

I've never seen best friends being this clingy and obsessed with each other. SaintShin didn't fool anyone with that bromance tag because look at the amount of hype and fans SkyNani gathered despite not being an official ship yet. The chemistry is electric. If not boyfriends, why boyfriend coded? 😭 once the tension faded after the big reveal, they started giving me diabetes. They were flirting and teasing. Saying sweet words, faces close as hell, long ass stares, teasing each other, hugs, moments with Chingching, walking in the rain under the umbrella professing their love for each other- isn't it all a bit too much for just best friends? Too romantic to be platonic bruh. Saint was so down bad he said Shin is the most important thing in his life, said he loves him multiple times, promised to be with him forever- who the heck says all that sappy shit to a friend? I swear half the time I was like- omg just kiss him already!

It would be a crime to not cast SkyNani in a love story. They're natural as hell. Gimme that canon gay stuff y'all I'm desperate

I haven't watched the show yet. Came here to read reviews to decide whether I should give it a shot. But I would say people complaining about high ratings mostly has nothing to do with their fav series. It's about whether the series in question deserves it or not. Some might agree some might not. Idk about this one but there are a lot of mid shows on this site that have way too high ratings. People give high ratings out of biases or when their expectations are already too low so mediocrity pleases them. But mostly it's just different preferences. Which is fine. It all comes down to personal taste in the end. The complaining goes both ways and it's just trivial to argue about tastes tbh

My opinion? JimmySea peaked in Last Twilight so people(including me) have high expectations from them. I hope they deliver like that again <3 the chemistry between them is so natural and effortless.
