I went in with zero expectations because gmmtv hasn't served in a long time. I have barely vibed with their bls after bad buddy. Only 2-3 gmm bls were upto my taste in the recent years. But I am pleasantly surprised with this one. Maybe because I'm from the holy trinity era 😭

Singto and Krist look just as perfect together and the chemistry is so subtle yet tangible. They're not in our faces with over the top clichés. Just mutual warmth and gazes (just like sotus but better because sotus had lesser romance than I would've liked 🥲).
I love shows and characters that don't try too hard. This is one of them. Even the comic parts are nicely done unlike gmmtv's usual style where they make the characters yelp a lot. And past and present scenes are perfectly inculcated. So glad gmmtv didn't fuck up their comeback 💗 can't wait for the next episode!!

I saw some of their scenes in some edits on instagram months later after I dropped the show so I did some digging. VegasPete looked hot ngl but the abuse and stuff? I cannot romanticize abuse I'm sorry 😭 they were super intriguing (even more so than the leads) but their plotline ruined it for me

Me too. I liked the show just as it is but god damn I'd be lying if I say I haven't been waiting to watch the confession and kisses in season 2. I loved every bit of the show but I have to admit they did drag it out to end it abruptly so that we can look forward to season 2. The ending could've easily be the part where they confess in the english camp. But they kept stretching it only to leave us hanging forever. That's cruel! If they had no plans of actually going forward with another season, ending the show that way was beyond brutal. I love the show mainly because of the amazing chemistry between the guys and the pretty cinematography. They didn't even need any kisses but bruv we deserved a closure 😭 how often do we get to watch such precious queer shows with outstanding performances and music? Once in years! It's heartbreaking to accept we may never get to witness a confession, let alone a happily ever after 🥺

Idc what anybody says. The story might have been basic but the execution was commendable. It's a shame that I can't rewatch this show again because of the heartbreak the news around season 2 has given. The 2nd half of the novel has everything that we were dying to see in the 1st season. So much cuteness, confession, tension. So much more romance and physical intimacy. Oh what would I give to have them make another season. I wish they hadn't dragged the 1st season and completed the plot in 16-20 episodes. The show would've been a blockbuster! It could still be a blockbuster if only they could make another season. The music, the cinematography, the chemistry was too good to be abandoned like that 🥺

Exactly. And it's just pure betrayal at this point. Us international fans did whatever we could to help. Gave good rating on as many platforms as we could, wrote and signed petitions, some even donated money thinking it would help and this is what we get in return? It's so heartbreaking. They're treating everything as a joke. And idk what do they want at this point the show was a hit internationally why do they need validation from locals to make another season? And if they knew the cast got hate but still carried on with the making then they should've finished the story in one season only. Splitting it two and then leaving us hanging like this is so cruel. It's as if they don't care about anyone but the target fans. What a shame!

It's so weird. Their ig account mentioned that they're going to change the cast? What the heck is going on? If it's hacked why is no one clearing it up and if it's not then why the heck would we want a show without the original actors?

I said what I said I don't see any chemistry between JossGawin. Gawin looked way better with First in Not Me. And no JossLuke was just a thought I got while watching them interact. I'm not obsessive. I have a life :) glad that I made you smile.

Lol I'm not a 100% sure of JossLuke either but they were worth experimenting with atleast once. Just my thoughts.

Do I need to ask for your permission to write a comment? Who said I have a problem with gmmtv? I've been watching their shows since 2018 bruh don't even go there. As an audience it's totally my business if I judge them, criticize them or praise them. You don't own the actors or the production company. I clearly mentioned this is my personal opinion I'm not looking to fight anyone so calm tf down don't get so emotional over a show. Let people express there opinions without being toxic for once.

Never been a fan of vampire themed shows but also never really hated them. Tbh a vampire show in this era seems like an outdated concept even for bl shows. Still checked it out for Joss (he's one hot mf lol).

With gmmtv, I've learnt to keep my expectations low as they make so many projects in a year it's impossible to maintain quality in each one of them. As expected this turned out to be meh(judging from the trailer ofc). Although I half expected Joss to look super hot as a vampire but he looks kinda caricaturish with those big ass canines and snake eyes lmao. Chemistry was nowhere to be seen(just a personal opinion, no hate. I'm not looking for drama lol).

I honestly never really understood JossGawin pairing cuz my lame ass kinda wanted LukeJoss to get paired up together atleast once and put the screen on fire like MaxTul lmao. They're both giants so it would've been an really interesting dynamic.

It might sound stupid to others but we know how comforting it is to see our favourite characters get what their heart desires. Real life might not be as fulfilling but we deserve to see our fav fictional men get a wholesome ending.

Okay so 3 days into feb but no announcement yet. Although I don't have much hopes left, I still want another season of this show real bad.

I'm going through a traumatic heartbreak. It's been two months but the pain is still just as fresh. I'm still just as depressed. I'm a girl who dared to love another girl(who was also my closest friend) in a homophobic society. She loved me back for years but suddenly stopped and chose a guy over me. She doesn't even miss me anymore while I sob every night reminiscing her older version. I lost a lover as well as my best friend. She left a big void inside me. Nobody asked for this sob story I'm sorry I get emotional pretty quickly nowadays.

My love story ended tragically, but I really want to see Wang & Tian get their happy ending. If they announce another season I'd really have something to look forward to. It's been hard to breathe these days.

Ikr they're so underutilized. They have so much potential! I hope they get more challenging roles in the future that they can pull off together.

Nah MoD ain't all that. Despite suspense thriller being my fav genre of all time in general(bl or not), I got bored to death half way through MoD. Plus the romance was so forced and out of place. I haven't watched SMYM yet just came here to read some reviews before giving it a shot but I did watch 8 eps of MoD and it was a snooze fest.

But you could name only 4 good bls out of almost 40-50 bls gmmtv has made till date. Not a flex.
