Um, idk which fans you have come across so far but if it's obvious that two people are in love and there's a proper confession I think most people would call it a bl/romance. Queerbaiting is when the characters dance around the idea of love but it never really goes anywhere. There are many bls that have bland storyline and endless nc scenes and they have pretty low ratings. I won't disgaree that some bad bls are overhyped too but not so much because of kissing and sex but more because of their loyal fans. For me, chemistry and plot matters most, and there are many others like me, kissing and touching would be boring without a plot. Let's not generalize bl fans is all I'm saying. And a little kissing and touching doesn't hurt anyone. Real people kiss and touch a lot too.

That said, it’s pretty obvious atp that gmmtv is targeting BL fans. They're clearly marketing toward them and even selling a bromance show to Gaga, which is mainly for LGBTQ+ audiences, only bl/gl watchers subscribe to that app. They're appealing more to shippers than general viewers.
HSF was a big unexpected hit, yes but let's be honest, it blew up largely because bl girlies hyped it as they shipped SaintShin. I know because I'm one of them- a bl girlie that watched those saintshin edits and then started the show. Thankfully it lived up to the hype. I don't ship real people neither do I support toxic fan culture or forcing actors into doing bl. When it became clear they might not want to do one, I respected that and continued supporting them as actors. But that doesn't mean I get to ignore how gmmtv exploits bl fans. They've done it all this time by producing weak ass bl shows that still succeed because of loyal fandoms, they're doing it again with skynani shows. Except content is better but not bl.
Maybe skynani just see this as work and want to collaborate without doing bl, and that's fine. But gmmtv is clearly capitalizing on their chemistry to pull in bl fans, which feels like a lack of confidence in their own content. Yes you can, I'm doing the same. The characters from season 1 do appear as they're all friends but it's not confusing at all. This story is a part of fourever you season 2 only. FY2 has 3 stories; first is FahPhoon- beside the sky, 2nd is ArthitDao- the sun from another star and 3rd will be lately it's winter season which is yet to air.
This might be the cutesttttt thing I've watched in a while. I'm such a picky watcher and yet they gave me everything I like in just 4 episodes. I went in blind, thinking it's just another teen romance, high school dramas don't impress me much as I'm in my twenties. But oh my goddd it had no business being this cute. The chemistry, the creative plot, the plot progression everything was so perfect!! I don't remember when was the last time I gave a 10 to a bl, I always find some flaws, I'm amazed that I can't find one in this. These babies deserve a 10! Because the haters cannot digest the fact that skynani have so much chemistry and still won't kiss, that they only make friendship based shows and still gain as much traction as bl ships, that they're earning and enjoying the attention without any fan service where they pretend to be in love, that they have found a way to work together to make their fans happy while still maintaining boundaries. Haters can try to paint it as "homophobia" or "queerbaiting" but nothing can hide the fact that all these whiners are just plain jealous and bothered. I have realised that there are countless people in this world that love to create problems out of nothing simply because they're miserable and empty in their own lives.

I'm all in for praising Wu, the trailer looks promising, the cast is fantastic but because gmmtv doesn't even give their bls the plots as good as this we don't even know how it would turn out. Other productions are mixing different genres with bls and they're turning out well. Romcoms can be great, as you said if they're well made-- exactly, but these days, many thai bls are using the same age old formula so it's getting boring and I see the most mid ass shows getting 10/10 here not because it's some groundbreaking story, but because the ship has huge fandom. Not every show needs to be categorized as bromance or romance, that's a very shallow perspective. It inclines more towards supernatural and horror genre. There's bit of kinship yes, but that exists in every genre of the world.
