Unfortunately, that explained in another novel, A Teddy Bear's Tale, which the channel don't have the right to…
I just saw the screenwriter's twitter (@maizuth) posted that they had already shot the series' version of Teddy bear miracle's explaination but it was cut.

To be honest I only will be happy (and I am not the only one based on twitter feedback) if they make an alternative…
I think we can't blame the directors because they just do what the contact said they have to. They can't change the novel's ending because it would violate the contact and wouldn't be fit for the messeage of the story.
Why Netflix should be blame too is because they are the reasons the team chop the part that explain the ending by force the series to be cut down 2 episodes (3 hrs) and that part is really important because it shows the stage of grief, concepts of moving on, redemption plot arc, the origin of Tofu's miracle. etc. Netflix even want to cut down 3 episodes at first but the production prevents it.

Wtf so we were supposed to have 18 episodes? No wonder episode 16 felt rushed.
The scenes the directors and Job mentioned that were cut from time constraint.
- The "walking in the rain" scene
- The bucket list scene (supposed to be before travel to Sichang island scene)
- The final arc of Saen and Jun's story (Saen get arrested and plead guilty for assulting of Tatarn and murder of Sibmuen and Tofu, because he felt guilty as he is the reason of all chaotic mess. Jun decided to move to Chaing Mai but still in contact with Saen as friends. After Tarn's reovery, he visit Saen and Saen told him the truth)
- The storyline of how Nat and Mathana cope with Tofu's death (They try to collect things in memory of Tofu, thehouse become quiet and Mathana's alzheimer diseases got worse)
- The Tarn arc after he woke up (he recover in the hospital, then he get Jun's former house and move in)
- The Nut insecurities to move on.
etc.

I'm glad. It sounds like the uproar has reached them and they hope to do some damage control. I doubt they'll…
Sorry to say that it isn't an alternate ending, as I said before, they had a deal with publisher to not changing it. It would be more like a deleted plot arcs that help explain the ending because they have to cut 2 episodes (3 hrs of scenes) to fit with Netflix order.

I personally think the only way they can make this up for fans is to give actors another show with good ending…
The channel produce a lot of really good quality dramas like Love Destiny. Lovely Writer (co-roduced with DeeHubHouse), etc. Actually, Channel 3 expertise is family and period drama, not romance.
I think they are really brave to produce a sad ending BL because most of BL regular watchers won't like it. The aim of this drama is to make older demographics to understand more about LGBTQ+ society and to show them BL are not just romantic cheesy series for teens (like most elder watchers think) as it can tackle serious issues and reflect the community too. For me, this series successfully did what its suppose to do, might not be the way we like, but it did.

But what will they do in the special cut. I would rather like a alternative ending than a continuation, cause…
Paa Jaew, the main director, said that don't expect anything much because she doesn't sure the editing will eager to do it or not. Some of the crew are Netflix's, so she can't fully control them.

I understands everyone who disappoint with the series. I think they should convince the channel to buy a side story novel, A Teddy Bear's Tale, to adapt alongside the series because the novel told more about Nat's side of the story and how he view his relationship with Tofu and Tarn. I see that is the only way to make the ending more understanable for everyone. However, the main director (Paa Jaew) stated that the team tried their best on how to explain the story from what they has.

The producers, directors, and writer are now discussing about the ending of the series on twitter space.
While I'm not agree with many interpretations the directors has, it's confirm my detail.
As I said, the major problems is the Channel 3-Netflix-Publisher deal, many scenes are cutting out because NETFLIX ORDER THEM TO CUT DOWN FROM 18 TO 16 EPISODES.

Now, the team decides to pay their own money to make a 90 minutes special cut (from the length of 2 episodes (3 hours) they have to cut out) for the scenes that are requested to chop off, which will release on the fanmeet event.

Now, I'm pity with Netflix, they destroy the series that might be the best Netflix exclusive series from Thailand just for lesser number of episodes again. (This is not the first series Netflix had done this anyway.)

Title The Eclipse Spoiler
The Eclipse, and it's from the same author that wrote The Miracle of Teddy Bear novel.
The Eclipse novel is written for TV series, it divides into 13 episodes, and it's a political investigative novel, so the lovelines are the background of the story, while the main core of each episode is different but still revolves around the same theme and the same case.
For me, what we have to worry is how they're gonna portray Akk. Nat is emotionally dysfunctional because of mental ilness and his family's situation. Akk is logically dysfunctional, he's an authoritarianist who want to top everyone and can do everything to protect his prestige as a student inspector.

Is it remake of Lovesick?
Nope, this one is adapted from the novel "แฟนผมเป็นประธาน My President", but it's the same theme, high school and music band.

Any news or updates to this one?
It's still in scriptwriting process, according to ninepinta, the screenwriter of the series.
And according to P'Jojo, it is his last GMMTV2022 series to be produced, so we all have to wait.

@Antika For The Miracle of Teddy Bear, the ending is the same as the novel, sad but beautiful. For me, the series kinda too rush about the ending, can't blame them though, Netflix order them to cut from 18 to 16 episodes so they have to abandon a lot of scenes they shot.

I really wish drama adaptations made from novels would be translated before or after it airs. Just because dramas…
I heard from the publisher that they're now translating The Miracle of Teddy Bear novel into English and Japanese (Manga) version (The Taiwanese Mandarin version is already finished). But for A Teddy Bear's Tale, which told Peeranat's side of the story, it is gonna be a long shot.
But from my experience as I read the novel before the show starts. The series is better in most aspect. The 2 things the novel do better is Peeranat's personality (less agressive, more likable, but still mood swing) and the ending (in the novel, it shows how Peeranat cope with loosing Tofu, then he finds the letter Tofu write to explain the reason of his action (but still didn't reveal he's a teddy-bear-turned-human), which is really sad that I cried. Peeranat doesn't move on with Tatarn right away, it took him a year. Tofu, as a teddy bear, told Nat when he sleeps that he have to move on, Tofu will be happy if Nat's happy, that's when Nat decide to restart a relationship with Tatarn.)

I think the series works really well, even though it has cons. Most of you might not like an unhappy ending for…
My ending interpretation
I think Tofu decide to end his life because he knows that Nat can coupe with his dead, as he's emotionally stronger now and won't submerge into sadness like he once before. If he still alive, Nat's family might be in danger from Saen and TRD group and the justice of Tatarn's case won't be served. Tofu is not a person, so he don't have selfishness like a person has and his love for Nat is more than just to be with him.
For Nat returns to Tatarn, I quite agree that the series kinda rush it to much and the dialogues felt like Nat love Tatarn all the time. Actually, in the novel and the full script (according to the actor) didn't being like this. Anyway, my opinion moving on is moving on. either you go back to your old lovers or go for the new one. The important part is that Nat not stays in grief, which for me is felt realistic.

I think the series works really well, even though it has cons.

Most of you might not like an unhappy ending for main characters and some of us might not want to start watching this, which is understanable. In my opinion, the romance isn't the center of the story, the center of this series is about family and LGBTQ+ society, that's why the creator didn't focus on how the relationships are gonna end, instead focus on how it's developed and struggles they had. I have different interpretations of the endings, but I would write with a spoiler below

Pros:
1. The directions. As i mentioned earlier, the storyline, though similar to novel, take a different focus. The directors (P'jaew and P'Phu) want the drama to engage to older demographics of Thai watchers that viewed BL series as a low-grade work, and LGBTQ+ watchers that viewed BL series spread misunderstanding of them. So, instead of a fantasy romance, they turned it into a family drama that more people can relate to and less offensive to LGBTQ+ community. The series' aim of making more understanding to viewers on Thai LGBTQ+ issue is really a great thing and they succeed on this goal.
2. The production. As many of us know, the series took 2 years of shooting and post-production. When the time is not rushing, the production will be more flexible and more quality (other Thai productions please take notes) The choice of camera, color tone, locations and voices are quite great for me. The editing and pacing of first 14 episodes is perfect. (The final 2 is kinda rush for me but I'll talk about it in cons) Also, the OSTs fit with the tone, story and characters.
3. The script. In my opinion, the script is perfectly made and the screenwriter understands what direction the series is taking. Compared to the novel, the series emphasize more in Ken, Song and supporting character's storyline (such as Phrippri, Mathana, Sipmuen, Saen and Jun). The decision of developing more storyline for Ken and Song' family is so clever, as it help us see clearer picture of Nat's dysfuntional family. Another great decision is creating a comparative storyline between elder generation and the new one by adding Chu and Nhong, the old LGBTQ+ couple to voice the older generation thoughts. The storytelling that switch between current event and flashbacks works well and help build curiosity that attract viewers to follow the whole series. The social issue they addressed is less force and felt real, as it not too shallow or too deep. Many dialogues are also great and help progress the story and the theme a lot. My opinion on character development is kinda mix but it's mostly good.
4. The cast. Everyone is the right one for their roles. The main casts (Inn, Job, First and Tee) are very excellent, especially Inn, his portrayal as Tofu makes me felt with the character. The supporting cast is also phenominal. Special admiration to P'Um and P'Chai, who played Mathana and Sipmuen/Saen, their performance in this series are the best and help generate the roller-coater of emotions for the show. This series also shows another sode of Jackie's acting, Kaewchingduang is really different from characters she regulary played and she act so well that it exceed my expectation.

Cons
1. The Lakorn's trope. The show is made in a primetime Lakorn format. The length of 1 hr 30 min is not the problem for me (but might be for other watchers) The issue is that they exaggerate the emotions of every characters, which is annoying for me, especially Nat's aggressive behavior. The lucky point of this series is that it didn't destroy the complexity of the characters.
2. The last 2 episodes 3. The unfinished TRD's storyline and Tatarn's side of the story 4. The reaction's policy. All of these problems are from complicated contracts between the channel, Netflix and publishers.
- The netflix's contract make it the one who controlled the series creative and marketing direction in some point. Netflix force the series to cut down from 18 to 16 because it felt the series is too long, so the team have to delete a lot of footage, even abandon some sub-storylines to make it fit with netflix order and force the final 2 episodes to accelerate their pacing. The final 2 episodes felt rush for me, especially the ending, I still felt with the story but slower pace might be better. So, I think the original plan of 18 episodes will be a greater choice. Also, the contract limited the length of reaction videos to feature only 5 minutes from the series, which is so small compare to 1 hr 30 min of the series.
- The adaptation right’s deal with the publisher is also creates the problem. Channel 3 only held the right to adapt 2 of 6 novels in Prapt's novel universe, The Miracle of Teddy Bear and Ling Pad Klorn, which set in the event before the series and focus on Kaewchingduang's dark business and life. The channel doesn't own the right of other 2 important novels, Tan Fai Daew, which is the closure of TRD's storyline with Dr.Pennueng (played by Yam Mathira in the series) investigate more in Tatarn's case, and A Teddy Bear's Tale, which take a focus on Tatarn-Peeranat-Tofu relationship through Nat's point of view that will answer a lot of question The Miracle of Teddy Bear has left. When the channel doesn't get the right of adapting both novels, they can't use the storylines of them too, that's why we didn't see much of Tatarn's story and TRD's storyline is unfinished. Also, the adaptation deal close the door of changing the ending from the novel.

Overall, I satisfy with the series and it exceed my expectation in many points. It's a great series that give me some inside and reflection on my country's society and reminds me the diverse concept of life and love.
