While this summary is better than the existing summary, the part about the regency of the Right Chancellor doesn't connect with the terrorist plot. It reads like no matter what the Right Chancellor is going to be appointed regent and when that happens the Crown Prince is likely disposed. How does foiling a terrorist plot save the Crown Prince? He is actually a really ruggedly handsome actor definitely not a pretty boy good looking type which historical c-drama tends to favor. But whoever did his styling on this show really saddled him with the most unflattering hair job possible. If you google his images in Crouching Tiger you will see what I mean - he looks drop dead gorgeous there. Much better than even Mark Chao/Ye Hua at his best. It really drives me insane that the production team did this to him. You are right but I thought Li Jing was her main love interest then and I thought he was hot. He lost me because he was weak but I didn’t have a visceral negative reaction to him. JX on the other hand struck me as slimy and two faced from the beginning. Well before I even imagined him even remotely as an alternate love interest for LX. And LX I find charming and lovely but already borderline in that she is already so helpless when it comes to JC. But I excuse it because she is young and infatuated but supposedly intelligent. The yucky slimy oily snake oil salesman feel of JX is so obvious I don’t know if I can still be in her camp if her judgement is so bad her flesh doesn’t crawl just to be around him.
