This article names 边江 and 季冠霖 as the voice dubbers for Luo Jin and Tiffany Tang in this drama. They are very popular voice dubbers and dubbed many shows. I didn't watch Agent X but I read somewhere that they used the same voice dubbers. That's why you think its their original voice.

PWY ending was bittersweet but it wasn't terrible but I hear you...
I think you may like Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (Eternal Love), Love and Destiny and the Legends. I have written reviews on all of them if you want to know more or are trying to decide which one to watch. I thought the Legends end was the messiest of the three but it was still happy.

I hate to tell you this but even Luo Jin's voice in Weiyoung was dubbed. It is very rare for any of them to dub their own voices. Takes too much time after shooting is over, they usually moved on to next project already. Only in Chinese movies and one or two shows like Longest Day in Changan use mostly original actor's voice. You can assume all c-drama is dubbed.

I know its not the end but I think Amazon bought the full version so we will probably get some more episodes on there. Not sure how many but likely to be more than 56 just based on where 53 ended up.

No worries at all. I haven't watched General and I but I don't think many actresses do their own voices. Many times its the same voice dubbers so yes, they tend to sound the same.

I watched it on Viki but you will likely need a VPN. It was on Amazon but its currently unavailable. The Youtube version is only available in the US but I think the English translation is not as good as Viki. You will need to use an Asian location to watch it on Viki - ie. Singapore or Philippines. Not Hong Kong.

I am going to rewatch the end on Amazon. I suspect they may have secured the un-cut version. No 53 is normal length and contains segments I have not yet watched. This is awesome, looks like we will get the full drama!!!

Yeah I just started, it is much easier to watch - much lighter, not so sad - for the time being I am sure.

I watched 56 episodes and it ended at 56 but the last 4 were 1 hour long. On Amazon episode 53 is only 40 minutes so maybe Amazon is airing the 65 version, which to my knowledge was never released. I will check out 53 on Amazon when I have time.

It is indeed full of cliches. But so well executed it works. Its all about the leads.

It is probably cgi. Xiao Er was very funny in the beginning I almost died laughing but she gets borderline annoying later on.

For his sake, I hope you are right... Would sure hate to be him if that were his "real life" face. LOL! Seriously I remember something like that only early in the beginning, I think they stop doing it later on.

LOL tyvm for the tips. I just started NIF2 I am quite hooked so it should tide me over for awhile. Lot of social unrest around me so kind of stuck at home watching dramas...

Ok I just started NIF2, which is quite good, I will start Ming Lan next.

The ending is good as in good beats evil. And this is not a spoiler because the drama is upfront about it from episode 1 that the main lead dies. This is something they throw in your face throughout. But you wil fall in love with him anyway. Even though I expected it, it totally broke my heart and it is by a wide margin the very best drama I have watched.

Yeah this one feels like its going to punch me in the face if I put in more time. I think I am only going to continue if I have a random 30 mins to kill here and there and don't want to watch something I am really into. This drama ban is killing me...

My all time favorite c-drama scene ever must be when Ye Hua stabs Su Jin. I think I watched it a million times and laughed my ass off every time! It totally speaks to my dark side!!!
