you probably just got Li Feiyu killed dead! 😱Like why not Li Feiyi or Li Feidi or Lu Feiyu or any other combination…
Yes, I remember now. The pace is so fast and its info overload - I forget half of what I learn in every episode.

For sure he was injured and suppressing his injury but the fact that he felt something like regret at their parting may have triggered the blood spitting. It was quite a sad scene - they both knew they may never meet again. She blurts out what he bottles up inside.

Tragic for her yes, but maybe not for Han Li.

I say this bc he spit blood after their parting. Usually that means something. But it is at best a small affection he can not allow.

I like her too but Han Li has been quite clear from the outset that they are on different paths. Its rule no 1 in xianxia - immortals can never love a mortal. But their relationship is quite complex - she saved his life expecting and getting not much in return. While I feel ultimately her love for him is one-sided, she is one of a very small number of mortals Han Li has to try not to be attached to.

Ah ok - I don't know why I have the impression the Seven Mysteries Sect are also cultivators.

I hope you all know that this drama is male center drama so dont expect romance... even in the book and donghua,…
Well Yang Yang does look super hot here, more than enough to have whipped everyone into a state of mega-thirsty! That said, I am still not looking for romance in this.

What 7.8?Why? This drama is very better than coroner's diary. 🤔🤔
Mysteries/detective dramas are not as popular as romance on MDL. CD is really a romance trying to pass itself off as a detective drama.

Ah yeah CD aka the romance drama passing for a detective one
Lol - I have no real issue with Julia Xiang (but Li Landi is a much better actor), I don't care about romance and I like real detective dramas so I think I can already tell you I prefer it to CD.

Yes but it seems like Haiya was more or less completely wiped out so the survivors are out for revenge. Whereas at Yeluo city the genocide was ongoing but it could still be stopped.

I enjoyed CD but I wouldn't consider it a real detective drama. Its mostly a romance.

I think she is most likely the child talking to Yesha, another orphan from Haiya, one that was adopted by General Huo or his wife. That is where she really recognizes Beiming from and not from spying on him at the yamen.

Title The Wanted Detective Spoiler
Beiming's background should start to be revealed in the coming episodes. There are already many hints:
In the classic Zhuangzi 庄子 Běi Míng 北冥 is a deep, mysterious, and boundless sea in the far north where the sun doesn't reach. Haiya 海崖 means Sea Cliff. This suggests Beiming's past is a deep secret related to Haiya. His master who must have been at the massacre must have rescued him and named him this way. He was angry and chastised Beiming for getting involved in the Yesha case bc he knows it is associated with Haiya, a case the emperor covered up. On his return Beiming is humbled and full of remorse; a man who lost everything. He is no longer the insufferable genius detective and condescending fiancee, just someone determined to unravel this conspiracy and clear his name. He also feels guilty because he seized the case when he didn't need to and it indirectly led to his master's death.
