What episode are you at now? Worry about the ending?
I am at 33 or 34. I just have no time until the weekend bc I have to work or have something going on most nights.

FL slapped the ML: He deserves it.ML slapped the FL: It's an assault!
Well I just hope those same female audiences - don’t try it at home, not in today age.

I haven't finished yet and now I am afraid to... But I enjoyed reading this and largely agree with your comments. Love Zhou Yiran's acting in it.

I am just speculating - maybe his real name is written on the handle.

Tian Xi Wei is now officially one of my favorite actresses. I was never impressed with her bambi eyes until Moonlit…
Well... she is definitely not annoying here bc the director was smart enough to cut all her smug smirks out. But as far as I am concerned, that's all on the director. And those bambi eyes are still a NO for me.

Yups - no prizes for guessing there's probably some hidden clue from her dad there...

ok more military questions bubbling up --Technology -- what were those fireball thingies, it was hard to tell.…
Can't really say. This is a fictional dynasty. But fireball "thingies " existed as far back as 3 Kingdoms period and maybe even before.

I am really disliking multiple dynamics these last 2 episodes: That whole stunt with FL and the sui brother ,…
Fantastic, unabashedly unoriginal fight scene - knocks off the best David vs Goliath ones and takes them to the next level!!

They should be cousins / same generation. Qi Shu is the emperor Qi Min’s eldest sister.
Qi Min was still living in the East Palace 6 or 7years ago when the fire broke out. Meaning as the son of the former crown prince he should have still been the heir apparent or at least a contender for his grandfather’s throne. But I assume his grandfather died and Wei Yan had him removed /burned to make way for his cousin the current emperor bc he was more controllable. His mother must have helped him escape to his maternal uncle.

We can agree to disagree. Or maybe I don’t watch dramas where relatives to be able to waltz into jail and free political prisoners in plain sight.

I don't think this is the only frustrating plot point. 😅
It’s definitely not I was able to ignore most of them but this is where it went well over my too absurd point.

You can’t really treat the drama as realistic; parts of it feel like a make‑believe animation world created…
Indeed it has just become cartoon like.

what i’m confused about xy’s second in command (can’t remember his name) was literally there with a bunch…
He just stood there and watched helplessly.... this is the mighty Marquis Wu'an's No 2 no less!!!🤦🏻‍♀️

Sigh! Why does every c-drama FL in an army camp have to pull a Mulan?🤦🏻‍♀️
Plot has taken a frustrating turn. Xie Zheng and his army is really not that competent if a POW can be spirited out under their noses just like that. No wonder he was almost got killed dead when the FL found him.

Back in the day, the shows I watch and follow would release one episode per week. Nowadays, everyone is spoiled…
Hahaha - my mom more or less did the same thing. Meanwhile I am kind of relieved bc I have no time. Retirement is something to look forward to...

... at this point even Chang Yu's pigs would know he is no ordinary person. He is buddy buddy with the Military…
There were so many clues he was not what he seemed all along the way. And I was fine to go along with it up to a point. But at this point its just absurd.

Awww,..which part? There are so many funny moments in ep 24. I know you don't like him still lying to her.
I am not sure how keeping her in the dark is protecting her. Knowledge is power. Knowing who the villains are, I would hate to be protected that way - it will get me killed dead.
