It was about a philosophy rather than about a story
idk tbh. It wasn't an exciting story about a mysterious man that solves world hunger. It was a story about a man. That was all. Not about who he was, but about why he became the way he was and learned to let go. It was incredibly beautiful and calming but I did get bored. But not because it was bad. Simply because it was not exciting. Nor was it meant to be.
It didn’t create anticipation or excitement around his past. It just revealed his past to explain him. Not to be dramatic, but to explain a mindset, explain a person. There was no “omg this dude is a god” cuz that wasn’t the focus. It focused on his personal journey in a way that made it less grand. The ending didn’t hit that hard, it was just kinda like "huh" because everyone already died. It made sense tbh. I have ADHD and if it ain’t gripping then it ain’t gripping, but it was really good and made me think more than most other shows. It’s just a story about a man and perhaps about oneself.
