Great stuff! Thanks for the article! LoveO2O is one of my recent favorites because of how different the romance…
I thought she was extremely timid as well~ it didn’t sit so well with me because her younger days personality was shown to be so headstrong and bubbly.
It helps when you watch the mini series though~ the where Tiffany and Wallace act as their younger versions as well~ that helped me ease into it by the ending.
Had to drop this: I feel like a masochist just continuing every episode. I can’t watch this when I feel so bad for the dead boyfriend and I actually find myself wishing they could be together. It’s so sad in that sense.
+ Sexual abuse + Kidnapping + Contract marriage + Ridiculously evil sister who turns good by the end.
+ A second lead who didn’t know who he wanted. Literally went between Sister A to B to A again like it’s some sort of game. :P
+ A stupid, short tempered but otherwise kind at heart hero who expresses his ‘love’ by hurting the other person just because of his insecurities and jealously complex. (Also sexually harasses and rapes the heroine while thinking its nothings ~ but then again none of these heroes ever do)
+ ‘Soft spoken’ and Kind heroine who doesn’t leave one chance at irritating me. Yes, the hero is no saint. Definitely not. But rape aside~ this heroine really didn’t help. The concept of ‘healthy communication’ is lost to this heroine. She barely ever tells the hero anything truthful as she should~ or tries to disillusion his jealousy. Instead, it goes something like this:
Tripop: So you were with him again! Ignoring your husband to spend time with your boyfriend! How many men do you need to flirt with huh?
Pat: You are disgusting!
Jennise: KILL ME NOW! YOU COULD HAVE TOLD HIM YOU WERE BAILING YOUR SISTER OUT! OR YOU THINK THAT THE SECOND LEAD IS YOUR BROTHER AND YOU DO NOT LIKE HIM!
+ Anyone who is of Indian decent, Indian nationality, watches Indian movies~ there is an almost airport climax here ladies and gentlemen.
I think the character that really ruffled my feathers (except for Psamai) was Prajak, the main Male~ I just couldn’t stand how he didn’t stand up as much as he should have about his feelings and about what he didn’t want.
Every time I saw him and Psamai holding hands when he’s clearly looking at Wanida with those sad eyes~ I wanted to give him black eyes.
Also~ Wanida was really forgiving. Not that I fault her~ but girl gotta have some self respect when it comes to the dude trying to travel on both boats.
Ah! I suppose we will have to trust in her and her choice of dramas to get by.

I’m a simple girl really~ I read ‘drop’ and ‘W’ in the same topic and I like!
