I don't think disliking the acting of someone who's extremely popular is the same as hating on someone.…
I also believe there is a vast difference between disliking an actoress for their acting and just hating on an actress. However, people often interchange and merge the two feelings all together.
I did not hold this same view before but now I believe in not judging someone else’s level of expertise in their profession if they’re more than tolerable (especially professions such as acting, art, etc) when you are, yourself not in the same profession, have received classical training such as they have and/or are even more learned then they are. That’s like telling a chef who owns a chain of successful restaurants they don’t need know how to poach an egg.
However, people are free to dislike actress’ just because they hate their attitude, their habits, etc etc. Regardless of what people do~ I believe if it is very sad that they spend so much effort in expressing their hate and anger whenever a said artist comes up with a new project.
I mean, for lord’s sake let a human being please no continue to earn their living!
How would we feel if we put our effort and energy into our profession but some bystander keeps telling us we’re horrible at our job? Too much energy is spent hating on actresses and putting an excuse on their ‘acting’.
I dislike watching Suzy’s shows~ why? I don’t need the hype around her. I just naturally dislike her. Nothing to do with how she acts~ I’m not qualified to judge that.
I do understand though that this isn’t man subjectivr opinion and a majority of the Asian Drama viewer population may not agree. Regardless, I’m happy to finally share my view.
*looks at everyone hating on Go Ah Ra, Yoona and Park Shin Hye~ scoffs at everyone and hopes that all three ladies are enjoying their hard earned wealth, and moves on with her own life*
