Like I insinuated in the article, I know the main lead is who she ended up with in the end. However, I always viewed the wheelchair fella as the main lead because his Love felt more... poetic. I don’t know, maybe I’m just partial ^___^’
So... the main female lead got hit by the pregnant fiance's car and the main male lead is still vengeful? Boy you should be paying thousands in support!
Stupid things the Characters did all Throughout the Drama:
Kwang/ First Female Lead: + Quit jobs + Allow the rest of the ladies to slap her and kick her around. + Entertain her ridiculous, unsupportive and unappreciative family. + Either misunderstand the male lead on things he's actually innocent (The whole Mafia angle) in OR entertain the male lead on things he's a total stupid head in (AKA Mistress).
Phu/ First Male Lead: + Run after Kwang without putting his feelings in concrete. + Keeping that mistress in his house DESPITE loving Kwang. + JUST. WOULDN'T. LET. THE. MISTRESS. GO! + Entertaining the shit out of Vii/ Wit on MDL.
Wit/ Vii/ Woman #2 who is after the First Male Lead: + Cry + Be delusional + Use Wan (Mistress aka Woman #1 who is after the First Male lead) to blow all the bombs while she stayed with her hands clean and the work done.
Second Male lead/ Idiot face: + Act like a complete and utter moron.
Mistress: + Act like a shameless nutjob who apparently had successfully been able to escape the mental asylum.
Sia: + Existed.
Honestly, this drama was really entertaining until episode 13/14 (when they got married)... then the main lead took it to the shites by leaving and sleeping with the mistress on the first night and then treating Kwang like a maid and his mistress above her. T_T
Obviously, this drama and the characters had some major flaws. But at the end of it all, it was still a good watch. Not MINDBLOWING, but not the worst.
I felt really bad for Kwang, neither her dad nor her husband were any good of a man when it came to being husbands. They set such bad examples for their kids. That ending scene where he and his new family and everyone were so happy made me really upset. That’s not something to condone.
Favourite Character in the first half of the drama: + Main male lead.
Favourite Character in the second half of the drama: + King vs Step mother.
Worst Character: + Kwang’s father.
Really sad King died.
8/10 for the plot.
-1 for the horrible portrayal of what’s appropriate for husbands.
+ 1 for King & Stepmom.
So: 8/10
