This drama was alright. Just that ~ alright. The plot was alright. The music wasn't anything extraordinary, I didn't find myself stopping and just feeling the whole scenario because of the songs. I wish the leads would have been different though~ the chemistry between Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun was barely even there tbh. I could not relate. Even when they were kissing~ I just felt... nothing. Jin Ji Hyun does look older than Lee Amin Ho, if shows~ she is beautiful~ but it definitely shows... sometimes I even felt like they were just two great actors doing their job and not the characters that I was meant to relate with or care for. I also thought it would have done well with just 16-18 episodes. 20 seemed a bit too much for me pesonally. Ah well~ it's alright for a random watch~ and Jin Ji Hyun & Lee Min ago do have very good comic timing! ~ maybe I'll give it another shot after a few years. Very much blown away by the amount of unfiltered smut scenes in this! Made a very big mistake watching it with my 16 year old cousin sister (it was so awkward) Although I must say a very interesting plot. Good ending as well.
Can someone please suggest more dramas like this one? I'm really missing the whole vibe and I've re-watched this just recently so I can't afford to watch it again T_T
Although I love the nice, transparent, supportive guy prince charming leads, love love love! I'm pretty sure the jerk prince charmings are here to stay, guys. That's something that will always be used... just like the concept of cute, bubbly, innocent, never been kissed before female leads will always be used --
Oh my god I can not express how much I hated the Chen Cheng whoever girl in this drama! Especially in episode 8,9 &10! I really dislike her demanding for food all the time and being so childish with not knowing when to just shut up. Also Grandma Huo~ that unreasonable rude lady really tested my patience. Basically, both Chen and Hou folks have been idiots from the get go. (The Mystic nine era till now)
I'm hoping they make this male lead a better version of the original male lead (who is more prone to his feelings towards the female lead) just how TenTen was in Kiss Me (Thai version of Itazura Na Kiss/Playful Kiss). We actually saw the fella crying for the female lead.. This hero deserves to cry too (when I actually think about Goong)
I would have loved the drama had I still been 17 or 18 years old and in high school ~ now it felt like it lacked a bit of emotional attachment. However, all in all it is a good watch for a rainy day :)
Happy ending. But the ending episodes felt too rushed. If they were going to make each episode just 15 minutes anyway then they could have added a few more episodes :/
