I'm scared there's going to be a lot of angst though tbh. Lately every romance drama has angst, and the chances of SE has increased dramatically as well.

I'm currently listening to the song you recommended and let me just say that every time the chorus hits I strangely feel quite alive! Thank you so much for recommending the song as well as the drama. I am currently being persuaded to watch "Lighter & Princess" by my friends even though I was worried after being told that the ML has a lot of sadness surrounding him and people cry watching it a lot hahaha.

I don't drink alcohol (personal preference) but I'll definitely go make some chocolate and dive into this Danmei (BL chinese novel) i've been eyeing and give watching dramas a little break. Afterward, i'll watch To My Star, I think I've seen it around as well ^^' thank you for the recommendation.

Honestly, I think I was able to make it through Goong then cause it was one of my first Kdramas. If I were to try watching it now, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't pass through the part where they got married hahaha.

It's basically romance that's not holy, or healthy, or green-flag.

This romance is mostly associated with the "slap-kiss" genre in Hetero Thai dramas, where there is revenge driven romance, hatred to love sort of romance, dubious consent in some lakorns, cheating, r*pe, crying FL, toxic ML, and other things people don't consider "healthy" in a real life relationship.

In this sort of romance-driven dramas, traditionally, the ML is horrible to the FL at first, then eventually maybe gets better, then by the end usually cries at her feet, and they both have a happy ending.

Nowadays it's just ML and FL not having a healthy relationship and doing things (eg: man-handling, forceful kisses, etc) that folks consider worthy of being cancelled.

1. More people are against the FL casting. However, I find the ML's casting much more unappealing personally.

It's alright, nothing too spectacular but still very entertaining .

Decent Plot surrounding the mission.
There were 3 couples in this drama.
The main couple, and two side couples.
The production team wrote more romance/ chemistry / and sweetness in the second two couples. Totally ripped off the actual main couple, right until the end.
My favourite was the second couple (Korn & Fon)

Anyways, don’t get attached to main lead’s romance and you’ll be fine. Everything else was fine. Good blend of comedy too.
