- The men of the family get exiled to the North - Family is allowed to meet 2 people before they leave - The women decide to make food and warm coats for the men to eat and take to the North - While they are sewing the coats the FL's stupid mother and aunt decide to smuggle money into the coats - FL drives cart to the men and they meet - FL's fourth uncle tells her to go and find buried treasure - A search of clothes occurs and the money gets found - The FL saves the men and says it was her who did it, she is punished to beating - The ML gets into civilian clothing and finds the FL to take her to the doctor

- The ML (in civilian clothing) and FL have a heart to heart - FL doesn't know who ML is by the way (commander of security department) - FL (this idiot) actually takes ML and they dig the tree. OML.
OMG i can cry. It was actually buried wine. A custom for first-bone girls where wine is buried and not taken out until her marriage day. Then it is given to the wedding guests.
- FL sells the wine for money - She's very skinship with this ML so fast ... like gurl you're leaning on his shoulder? rubbing dirt off of his face? for what? You don't even know him well?

- FL takes over the household (trial period) - FL burns all the slave contracts - FL decides to start a hawthorn candy business - Candy business succeeds - 3rd aunt tries to get reign of household back but eventually FL and aunt come to an agreement
- I started to like the family around these episodes. - ML’s younger sister (who has been locked up for her safety for years) gets free from her house and ends up in FLs - ML let’s his sister be with FL’s family - FL’s business moves to supplying restaurants - FL earns enough to move back into city
Also bro I think one of the maids (clearly old) actually has romantic feelings for one of FL’s cousin (WHO IS 9!) — like the heck?
- Scratch that she’s his birth mum - The birth mum gets settled outside of the house after she and her daughter expose the truth after the son almost dies by drowning
- Security men who ran away before during the raid, return with bad intentions
[EP13-14]
- The security men’s leader starts demanding and bullying the women of the house for money - The son of the leader attempts to rape a newly hired maid as well as the FL when she catches him - ML beats the shit out of the Leader & his son and send them to the cops
- The FL confesses to the ML - ML rejects FL
-Grandma dies
[EP15-37] - FL and ML get together (EP 20) - FL and ML break up (EP32-33) - First prince rebels and dies - FL gets bankrupt by Emperor again who asks for all the money she has saved to make canal - Everyone who FL helped came and gave her money for the cause

[EP30-40] - Canal gets built - Emperor "rewarded" FL by making her an astronomy employee (they can't marry or go out ever) - ML finally steps up and comes to fight the royal guards for the FL - ML gets wounded and locked away in a courtyard by the emperor
[EP1] Began this and so far I'm still wary of what I feel about this show.
[EP 37]—While I thoroughly enjoy the empowering progress of the women in this show and their wins, as well as the fast-past creation and resolution of issues that revolve around everyone in this drama (not just the love story of ML and FL) , what I do not like are any of the men in this show. This includes the ML. I see everyone calling him a green flag, supportive, kind ML, but to me, he is exceptionally spineless, and the FL is too lax. The romance I could live without—in fact, I firmly believe the FL would flourish if she were with anyone else except the man she fell in love with. Who could not protect her or stand up for her in the face of his loyalty to his uncle.
An attempt was made and i acknowledge that, but this was still a raging fire in a schoolyard dumpster & the ending was extremely abrupt and incomplete. 6/10
