I think it’s because some people choose not to watch trailer/teaser/ preview until they watch the episodes. In comment section here, if there is no ‘spoiler tag’, some people who choose not watch the trailer/ teaser/ preview will accidentally read them and once you did, there is no way to un-seen it. It’s hard to avoid ‘comment’ section all together because one may have questions about the earlier episodes, or just want to share their views, etc.
